Misato's Pill

In the episode when Shinji gets rematerialized after being dissolved in the eva, we see Misato goes to have sex with Kaji. During that time we only can see a glass of beer, a half-smoked cigarrete and some holding hands once. But then we see Misato's hand dropping a pill. What was that supposed to mean? The pill I mean? Was it anticonceptive? Then why did she drop it? Was it a booze pill?

its explained/shown in the series. Kaji gave it to her, it contains a small microchip.

You know, I was thinking about the pill that Kaji gave to Misato a few weeks back..and a funny little thought/ conincidence entered my brain...Maybe I'm reading too much into it all, but here goes...

Misato saw her father in Kaji right?
And Misato was placed into a safety capsule (by her father) when 2nd impact occured...And then to help Misato learn the truth about it NERV and 2nd impact Kaji gives Misato...a little pill, or CAPSULE...
It makes one wonder about the possibility of reincarnation...some tribes even believe that a person can be reincarnated into another person-even before they've died, kinda like so that there are actually 2 of them living on earth at the same time! Yeah it sounds far-fetched I know...but I like thinking about this kinda stuff, becuase it's kinda interesting...anybody think like-wise?

I saw Neon Genesis Evangelion for the first time about 5 weeks ago and I was totally impressed....or is obsessed ever-since the right words...humph....probably.

(Like that would come to a shock to anyone around here)

...anyway about the pill, when/where does Kaji actually explain the pill? Is it during, before or after their 'love-scene'?

Obviously its something i've missed and its driving me totally nuts atm. C'mon weekend, hury-up already........(too much studies during the week I'm affraid)

well, I didn't mean that that's wot Misato wanted to do literally!!

I'm just saying that she found a lot of her feelings that she had for Kaji, were the same if not similar to the way she felt towards her father...Which kinda implies why she ran away from Kaji when they were younger...There were issues with her father that she still had to resolve-and that she was therefore continuously coming up against them in Kaji (through no fault of his own)-so she had to leave Kaji until she was able to 'sort everything out', and come back to him in her own time, when she was well good and ready to...dat's all I meant really...

I believe that we find out what the pill is when Misato says something like "not only did you give me your heart, but you also gave me your mind..." and we see the capsule open with a chip on the table.


Not sure if that's exactly the way it was, but that's what I remember ;)
