Actually the orangie thingies you meant are on her wrist.....it's a button that tighten the plugsuit.
And the color of the palm is green-ish blue.....but that kinda differs.

well considering as how she has plain white and blue gloves throughout the entire television series, i would go with that, rather than two pictures from the art book..

OK here it is!

on my model and in my books and in my wall scroll and in my posters they not once have those things on her hands...those orange things around her wrist are just buttons for her suit but the things on her hands are never there...so dun put em on :)

**NOTE** all those dots mean that i was in my room checking my posters and eva collections :heh:

i'm not sure, but in the episode where Shinji is inside the alternate universe in the shadow angel (sorry i can't remember the episode number or angel name), doesn't he have some kind of display on the back of his hand (suit status?).
If so is it possible that it is standard on all the suits but varies in colour (like the suits themselves).

LOL, dont be so hard on yourself. You dont need to go in a plugsuit ^^ just go in something ... meh, I dunno... more casual =)

Of course, still with the spray and contacts (lol dont go looking like yourself and being like, oh ----, thats what I forgot)
