Is the NGE Perfect collection out yet?

a friend of mine found a site that says it should be released this month or next month in Aussie, and D&R DVD should be out by July 30th, and EoE should be out in December.

but dont hold me too it.

At least by the time EoE comes out I will have been able to see the whole series.
Just a question, is there an order in which you should see the 2 movies. D&R 1st?

the order goes, NGE series, then D&R then EoE.

D&R is just basically a summary of the series though so you almost don't even need to see that if you don't want too. But I'm sure that's not going to stop you. :D

Death is just a rehash of the series, and Rebirth is the first part of EoE (Episode 25: Air)

No...Death is sth. more than a simple summary of the series. It lets you see how everything happened...why Shinji is the way we see him at the end...besides it contains many scenes that were not shown. It is not a summary...for US (not USA) it is sth. more.
Rebirth, on the other hand is a part of AIR...

According to www.ozdvdwhs.com.au D&R has been delayed beyond August. Couldn't find anything on the Eva boxset.

I think he meant this past April. That's what the release date used to be until it got pushed back like it always seems too. Eva2k maybe just hasn't bothered to update it or something. I don't know though, I never look anymore. :lol:

They are the two Evangelion movies...

EoE- replaces episodes 25 & 26 in the series... Great movie... (EoE = End of Evangelion.)

D&R- I know NOTHING about. (D&R = Death & Rebirth.)

The thing is why did Maya get a DVD cover while Asuka and Ritsuko got shafted, they are much bigger characters, people would look at the DVD cover and think that Maya is one of the major characters, what a joke!
