this thread is devoted to, but not limited to, the discussion of the Berserk manga.

Let's start of with, when's the new volume coming out? I have the latest which is Volume 22. It's the one that goes into further detail about Farneze past (she's cruel!!!)

Is there any info available on the next volume or is the next volume even out?

hmm ive read the manga too, but ive only been able to go up to volume 9. i didnt even know the manga was still going :lol: unfortunately i dunno when the next volume is coming out, creaters have a knack of not following a specific release date time, so it s hard to know when, since there so busy coming up with ideas to continue the plot :D

Just wanted to know which publishers are puting out Berserk and are we talking crappy 30 page issues or Graphic Novels? (I'm assuming GN's but fill me in if I'm wrong.)

Also hows the manga compare with the anime series?

compared to the manga, the animated series is too soft. A lot of the violence on the manga was toned down from the anime series.

One notable difference between the anime and the manga is the fairy companion Puck. The story starts with Gatts and Puck but you don't see Puck anywhere in the anime.

Thank everything there is to thank for that... Might be because Puck only showed up after the Hawks were no more (AFAIK) and there is only like one episode of that time period in the anime, so they didn`t feel like introducing a new character (especially an annoying sidekick) solely for that episode.

i have the first dvd (war cry) but i havent read the manga but i think i am going to because it sounds really good

The latest issue is volume23, and a chapter of volume24 is being released every 2-4 weeks or so in japan... the full thing will be released in december.

Each volume takes about 4-6 months to be finished.

Does anyone know when the manga is going to end?
24 Volumes is allready very long.

There is only one man who knows when and how the manga will end and that is Kentaro Miura himself.
24 volumes is not a lot 40+ is a lot.
the way things are going I think it will take another 10 volumes to complete this series
