How many tapes?

I am curious as to how many tapes make up The Slayers collection?

Slayers. . .which series?
I believe that they have been released in such a way that each series (Slayers, Next, and Try) takes up 8 vhs tapes. But, the number of episodes in each series is different (than the usual 2 episodes per tape).
For example, in the first series, tapes 1 and 5 (first tapes in the two box sets 1-4 and 5-8) contain 4 episodes each, and the rest (2-3, 6-8) contain 3 episodes each.

And then you have all of the OVA's I think there are 4 tapes there, theres 2 OVAs on each tape and theres the movie which is a great production

Aren't there 3 movies though? I believe Slayers Gorgeous was the third movie (no official release yet) and I think the other two would be Slayers Great and Slayers Return (hopefully, that's right, though, I doubt it).

no theres Slayers: The Motion Picture thats the movie. I have gorgeous (Fansubbed) its an OAV, in fact its the first where Naga first meets Lina. I dont know about the other 2 but i'd say they're both OAVs too

I have the first and second ones. fansubbed. im sure there are two more aftr that.

Actually, Gorgeous is the one with the big dragon in the end (And I'm quite sure it's a movie). I forgot which one Lina and Naga first meet in, but it was either Explosion Array (one of those) or one of the Excellent OAVs. Kinda funny how they meet too. ^_^;;

You're right, its the first of Excellent. I must have gotten them mixed up, I cant find my Gorgeous so I'll have to find it again

So now I need to find the 3 movies.
