Would anyone reccomend the S2 works soundtrack?

I was thinking of getting the S2 Works soundtrack. Is it worth it over just getting the three ost collections? How many more songs does it have?

Well...S2 Works has most of the tracks from OST1,2,3...there are 6 discs plus one special disc...of course there are some new songs but nth. as GOOD as original...BUT summing it all up it is a VERY good Eva ST...i would recommend it as anything else that is related to Eva.

As to whether it's worth buying...., hmmm..., I've had the boxset for about 3 years now..., & I've listened to the whole thing in it's entirety only once..., there is a lot of repetition of tracks in the boxset...,

And a word of warning..., the official version of the S2 boxset released by King Records does not contain 'The Cruel Angel's Thesis' opening theme..., I had to buy the CD single seperately..., though the SonMay bootleg version may have the track on it...,

Just a note… Because the set has every single version of the song that could be created, as in the different sections of the orcesta that preform it even have their own little songs… And you want to invest the money into it… Be my guest and buy it…


Just watch out for Shinji's man goo on the cover of booklet… ;)

Should someone buy S2 works? That's kinda the same as pondering whether or not you should take the million dollars instead of that crummy fishhead in the box...okay it really isn't the same as all but Eva's soundtrack does kick ass :)

Hehe...i will listen, and ALWAYS buy anything connected to Eva. Money does not mean much to me.

Actually, I have had the bad misfortune of watching the Gundam Wing series in its entirety <shudder> and i can say for a fact there isnt any yoai OR hentai in the whole thing. Making it a realitivly clean show(in other words it sucks), when compared to the much better Evangelion...course, I could be a bit biased (broods over Asuka)...
