Does Manga like to suck? Cause there have not been a Macross Plus DVD without an error, except for OVA #1, second pressing. Seriously, they've got the biggest money tree sitting there and they manage to screw it up every time.

Do they plan to make a box or something with the 3 DVD's? 3 remastered DVD's?

Good point, I got the 3 DVD's and they always have something wrong with them, I think they should make a special edition that kicks a lot of @ss like the Akira apecial edition set, something like that

Manga waited 5 years to release End of Evangelion and alot of the discs were defective, indeed they are incredibly incompetent.

Welcome to the world of the UK anime fan..., :(
Manga Video have been around in the UK since 1990..., whilst they should be applauded for bringing anime to the UK in the first place, their treatment to their customers is utterly shoddy...,
You'd think that after 12 years in business they would properly quality control their products before release.., but as is shown with their US Evangelion DVD's, & the Macross Plus DVD's.., they obviously haven't learnt any lessons...,

In the first pressing of the UK version of the boxset, the DVD's are completely mislabelled..., I put in the first OAV disc, & ended up watching the movie instead...,
I'm not sure what's wrong with the US editions...,

I have the Macross Plus ultimate edition DVD boxset, which I purchased here in the UK. The CDs are labelled up properly and everything works doolally.

The four episodes are truly excellent, especially (SPOLIER! ) the urban mecha battle between Isamu and Guld in Episode 4. Not to mention the soundtrack....

One criticism though: the last disc - the film, is VHS transfer with English subtitles. The quality leaves a lot to be desired. Buy it for the episodes as their quality is far superior and features some really decent English dubbing. The film just sums up the episodes anyway.

Oh yeah I got it for like £8.99 in the sale at HMV :D
