Well, apparently the release date has been pushed back even further to July 25th. If you check out the main news page over at Anime on DVD (http://www.animeondvd.com/), you'll see what I mean.
Also, this disturbs me:
...the release dates for the following Right Stuf titles distributed by ADV Films have been postponed until further notice:
Right Stuf:
RSDVD8012 His & Her Circumstances Volume 2 DVD
Notice the bold word. That means it's on an indefinite schedule. ARGH!

Rightstuf.com now updated not saying when 1 comes out, but says 2 comes out August 30th and 3 on Sept. 15th.

You'd think that 1 comes out before 2 though...
and if by about the same amount 3 comes after 2, then you can expect it in mid August.

Bestprices just sent me an update on the order which says the release for the box and DVD 1 is now July 23rd.
I wish rightstuf would actually say something!!!

I ordered the first dvd with the series art box from amazon.com...all of the books I ordered at the same time have already shipped and yet the dvd which was supposed to be ship well before the books still says "not yet shipped" it does make one grow quite impatient. Oh well at least I have the fansubs...I just ordered the dvd cuz I got to meet the people who dubbed for Arima's parents ^_^V and well I promised them I'd watch the official release.

Eh, I don't think it's anything too girly. It certainly has that Evangelion touch too it with the whole psychological analysis stuff, but that's what makes it so interesting in my opinion.
I've only watch the first 3 episodes so far on the DVD, but the show seems very interesting from what I've seen. I look forward to seeing more episodes. :D

Who'd you order it from to get it so fast James?
And how is the dubbing? Or did you get a bootleg.
I ordered it straight out of <a href="http://animeboards.com/rightstuff.php?id=1" target="_blank">Rightstuf.com</a>
I wanted to get the box + the first DVD so I figured I'd order it from the company that made the DVD and such.
I've only watched up to episode four so far, but I must say that I like the dubbing. The VA's voices go with the characters pretty well, though I've yet to see what the original japanese dialogue sounds like yet.
The audio and video on the DVD is nuts though.
There are several different angles depending on whether you want to watch the shows opening with the original japanese text or the redone english one. You can have several different english subtitles for all the audio or just the text which flashes across the screen during the episodes...it's just madness I tell you. I haven't even dug into the extra's yet due to lack of time, and not wanting to spoil anything I haven't seen yet.
But all in all I think the show is most interesting. And the DVD is exceptional to say the least. :D
