all i can say is cool :cool: its really cool how they develop the characters in just ten episodes :D im hoping it will get better. anyway, how many episodes is the series? i know Media Blasters is releasing WK in 5 dvd's.

speaking about the dvd's, the outtakes are really funny :D

As far as I know, Weiß Kreuz is 1 season, with an OVA (or two OVA's, depending on how you look at it) and a bunch of drama cd's (radio stuff).

I love this anime ^ ^! I've seen half of the series and the oav... its one of my favorites! and I agree I love how they develope the characters... and you don't have to wait forever to get to know them!... my friend couldnt believe the first episode was actually the first episode... usually the are quite slow... although I think it would have been cool if they had started where the manga does... which is pretty much weiss is already formed but it only has yoji omi and ken and they meet aya who shortly joins after... That would have been interesting to see!....

yeah, i like the part where they go "hunters of the night, you're target is the guy from duran duran" and when ken says "whip it baby!" when that one girl from shcrient is whipping him:lol:

anyway, the reason why they made those is becuase the producer of media blasters actually *hates* the show

It seems that a lot of people hate this series with a passion. I don't understand it; sure, it's not high art, but I think we've all seen worse. To me, it's for girls what all those "cute girlfriend army" series are for boys. Like those series, it can appeal to both sexes (WK has action, harem anime has romance). Yes, the budget was obviously extremely small, and yes, it does get a bit cheesy at times, but it's still a pretty entertaining series---and that's what I watch anime for, entertainment.

thats true. although from now on, i wont pay attention to reviews, the reason why i didnt watch the second dvd was becuase the AoD reviewer said it was the worst thing he ever watched.

oh yeah, 3 days until dvd 3 comes out!

I've just got to say that the series gets a lot better in the later episodes. There is still a lot of melodrama... and a lot of screen shots of bishounen :cool:. But so far, I love each dvd definitely more than the one before it, because the plot is a little less episodic, and more interesting. You get to see more of the different sides of the characters... (To be honest, I loved it 'cause they showed more Aya-kun... :inlove: A-yan! A-yan! hee hee...)

I really think the fight scenes got better... their finances didn't improve, but the fights look cleaner to me...

Well... I did like her too, but Omi and Ouka had one strange relationship... :confused2 I actually liked Ouka's mother better than Ouka, though. :)

i had the first and second volume and I admit - the animation is not that great but there is a PLOT. What i like here is that it has everything from comedy, dark pasts to action and bisshies (of course).
"the villain of the week" concept in each episode was OK :D
By the way, i was LOL when i saw the outakes.
i enjoy this series overall and i'm planning to buy the remaining volumes.

i also just can't stop humming beautiful alone (ending song) - completely stuck into my head.

Keep it up! I don't know about the rest of the volumes, but the first three are really a lot of fun, and the animation does improve in the third volume!

i went to suncoast video, they have a good collection of anime and manga, I got this and another thing but this is the wrong board to talk about it... anyhoo back on the subject, i liked WK alot too, i plan to get the others... anyway, the drawings for the new wk is totally different. i think aya/ran looks the same.. the outtakes are hailorus, i have to watch it again, espeically when i need a laugh =3 :lol:
alot of people say they dislike the drawings threw out the season but, everyone makes there mistakes. and the pics not in the seson, just random drawing by the creator is great! I'll slow down alittle, post later!
