I was looking around for the .hack//sign OST on CDJapan when I noticed this...

Is this a alt. name for .hack//sign or an entirely new series?

Its either the name of the OST or the name of the intro/ending theme. Whatever it is, it definitely has something to do with .hack.

".hack" is the name for the actual project and the game. .hack//Liminality is the OVA that will be released after .hack//SIGN.

I don't know much but I heard some weeks ago it was released, at least as fansubs, and it was indeed an OVA.

I wasnt actually really sure about all that went on in the .Hack// world until I (kindof) read Newtype Feb 2003 (Japanese edition).

The third OAV in the .hack//Liminality has been out for a while now. It's rather good, though of course you can't consider it completely unless you take everything else in the .Hack universe into account.

ok well if you guys dont know about .hack//liminality its hack//signs OVA if you get newtype there was alot of info in the first 2 mags of it

they are only releaseing thease OVA's with the 4 PS2 games inflection

also hack//LIMINALITY is looking how "the world" affects the real world like in hack//sign it was just about the game you didnt get much stuff about whats happerning in the out side world

well I dont know but in japan you get the OVA's with the PS2 games I dont know if they have relised a DVD with them on or 1 DVD for 1 but as far as I know thats how you get them

(or you could get fansubed ver if your really desprent but I wouldnt recomand that seeing when the licence is bought for USA there legal but intill then there not and I dont know if hack//LIMINALITY righs have been bought I know hack//SIGN's has)

I know of three series, one is .hack//sign, the other is liminality, which from what I can tell follows a bunch of high schoolers in real world and shows how the "World" is viewed from that point of view, and then there is a third with two characters that are similar to the two main characters is //sign, but are much younger looking.
