Last Thursday I entered my local Electronics Boutique store with a few of my mates. Sure, they aren't the anime types (heck, none of my friends are) but they pointed out this particular anime to me. I picked it off the shelf and looked at the box for a few minutes. I'm pretty much broke at the moment and the thought of buying an anime was pretty much painful to bear. Then some EB employee appeared out of nowhere and spoke to me. He said how great this particular anime was... blah blah blah... and I just nodded. Who cares what those guys say?
Well for the first time, I did. He talked me into buying it! ::slaps forehead::
Not like it's bad though. This DVD is awesome! Once i got home I shoved it into my PS2 (yeah yeah it's a poor DVD player.. but it does the job) and sat back for some thriller/killer/crime action (okay, I actually had no idea what I had bought in terms of genre). First i was confused like the first time I really got into Evangelion and then I couldn't take my eyes away. This is really a great series and I've only seen the first 3 eps! The realism involved in the characters and how you can relate to them so well just blew me away. And the music is just crazy! It really adds a certain depth to the whole anime. In itself, Boogiepop Phantom is just a great anime. So great that you bet I'll buy the next volume in a few days time! Once I get some money, it's going away. :lol:
Oh well enough of my crap. I just needed to get that out of my system... *phew*
