why is that called this.

i was wondering why the first Tenchi movie was called Tenchi Muyo In Love.this was really strange because Tenchi wasn't even in love in this move.His parents were the one's that were in love.

it doesn't come together.anybody know why it was called this?

thats a good question.... at first, i thought it was about tenchi's love life but when i saw the movie, i guess i was wrong. its still a good movie, even though, the title doesn't fit the story. :B:

no that couldn't be it,because i saw the japanese previews for the movie on my DVD and they pronounced it "Tenchi Muyo in Love".

doesn't Tenchi Muyo stand for no need for tenchi. So it would actually translate to ?No need for Tenchi in love" wouldn't it. Which wouldn't make the title too off. Though I still think he crazy for not shacking up with Ryoko

but, Tenchi itself means "heaven and earth" so , in truth the title would be "no need for heaven and earth in love"

So technicly the movie is called In Love but TM is there just to reassure everyone that it's a Tenchi movie.
