Where did he get his Devil Powers?

Toguro Ani (the little one that's kinda scary looking) has the ability to morph his body into weapons and various other things. He's very resiliant and hard to kill. That said, it was never explained in the series just how he got his power. I'm assuming he got the power the same way Toguro oto did (sold his soul to the devil because he was afraid of being weak.)


Well, that isn't really a spoiler is it? he does resurface a few episodes into the future after the first tournament but it doesnt say much about him either. I'm assuming he did exactly as his younger brother Toguro Oto did because of the way he fought Kurama. Kurama mentioned something to a degree that he lived for fighting and since he couldn't die, that would be the death of him. There's a few points lost on the translation, ehehe... its a bit hard to explain but it does point out a few things about Toguro Ani's obsession with power.

That's what I thought, but I'm just wanting to make sure that I missed something in the subs that I got. That really wasn't spoilers, though.
