Tenchi?

Sorry to seem ignernt, but as i havent heard much about Tenchi Muyo, i have a few q's, as i have an opportunity to buy the vids. Is it ok to watch the movie (Tenchi in love) before the series? also, how many vids are in the series? ive been looking, but the last one ive seen is video 6. Thanks in advance. :D

Ehehe, its not a rule to watch the videos in order. I didn't. If you feel uncomfortable skipping episodes, i suggest you just wait if you want.

You can watch the movies anytime you want... I recommend watching them after you've seen at least one of the Tenchi series.
Let's see... Tenchi Muyo has 26 episodes (I think!) so depending on how many episodes they put on a tape...

NO Tenchi Muyo only has 14 episodes and a speacial, making 15 at the most. i believe its 7 vids in total

Watch them in any order you like because the story is completely different for each one

That's one of the cool things about Tenchi. You can watch any of the series before another and it won't seriously harm your impression. I saw Tenchi Muyo! OAV first, then Universe, then Tokyo. I liked the OAV more than the others.

I watched tenchi ova first i wanna see the story afer that...

tho my friend said that the ova series of all the tenchi series made the least sense.

He probably said that because the OAV series doesn't seem to have a real ending to it. Tenchi Universe, on the other hand, has a great ending to it. :D

uhuh, i agree. most of the stories of the oav doesnt have an ending.... while the universe, it does. :B: now with the tenshi in tokyo, i dont like it that much.

Hm. Going back on this, I really like the different series for the way different characters act in them.
I like Ryoko in Tenchi Muyo and I like Washu (and Aeka because she's not so bitchy) in Tenchi Universe.

I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but, I really liked Tenchi in Tokyo. I still like Tenchi Universe best. But, there were things I liked about Tenchi in Tokyo.
