Interchangable Asuka Figure

I was just wondering if anyone owns or has seen in stores, the Asuka figurine with all the different heads and accessories...because I want one but I've only seen it online and it looks ok.. but it's hard to tell. I've seen the Rei version in real life and it didn't look very good..the paint job was bad and her face looked weird...but the Asuka one looks slighly better...does anyone know if it is worth it?

I'd love it if I had it...And when I watch EVA, and I push a pin through that plug-suit, and she screams in the TV show, I will laugh...But that will never happen because my friend owns it and every other anime...Spoiled Brat I hate him for that!!! I know, the hyperlink is broken...:splat: DAMMIT!!! But anyway I want that Asuka Voodo doll. So when she is piloting EVA 02, I will stick a pin and she should say "ouch!" Then she dies, but since EVA 02 is sooo much cooler than her, he releases her from his cockpit and watches as his EVA friends 5-13 eat her! :D

I believe this is what you were talking about. I think this will make people identify it better. Personally, I only colected the Eva's. I don't care much for Rei and Asuka.

They made a life size Rei at the height of Evangelion's popularity in Japan....,

The Kaiyodo Asuka is very well made IMO..., the paint job is good, & the casting of the fig is well done too..., my only quibble is that did it really need that many extra arms & heads...? It just pushed the cost of the fig up IMO...., :dodgy:

I've seen the Kaiyodo Asuka figure costing from anywhere between US$15-30, depending on where you look..., the price in Japan is about 3000 Yen (roughly US$25)..., but you can find it for less than that...,
The life size Rei doll, which came with a plugsuit & her school uniform.., cost just under US$900..., the company that made them don't produce it anymore...,

I have never seen this figure in real life, I haven't seen much Eva toys with my own two eyes and not on a computer screen. I've seen all of the Evas... And this cheap looking Asuka toy... Whe looked like a Barbie with a REALLY big head.

Yes, I don't like the figures, but I love the model kits! They're easy to put together like plastic and they make wonderful gifts!
