It's being released in august for about $127.00 at www.amazon.com if you pre-order it. Me, I am interesting in seeing this myself....I heard that this was a good series, is it true?

Honestly, I find No use in buying a Box Set when I already own the 8 DVD's already. A Pretty Box isn't worth $127.00

That's true.
But the series is well worth getting IMO. I just finished the 7th DVD yesterday, and bought the 8th one today. haven't watched it yet though. But seriously, this has got to be perhaps the best series I have ever seen. It has already become my favourite anime series. Better than Eva even. Well that's just me though. ;)

Well, at bestprices.com, the Gasaraki box set can be preordered for $98, which is significantly cheaper than anywhere else i've looked.
Anyway, I've already watched through the series in vcd qual/format, but it was so good, I already preordered the box set to watch the series again.:)

I was just about to come ask if there'd be a Gasaraki boxed set...and I got a big fat yes. It's August now, so when will I see it come out?
n/m: it August 20th...weather I have the cash or not remains to be seen. I just have to see what the local prices are when it hits. I already missed NGE: Death and Rebirth, and I'd like to snag this one if it's not ungodly expensive (hopefully under $100)
