A Rurouni Kenshin Timeline?

Has anyone seen a timeline for Rurouni Kenshin?

I've been trying to figure out how old Kenshin is, because he can't be 28. Here's my logic...

He became an assassin at 14. He becomes a wanderer 19. And the story supposedly takes place 11 years after the Meiji Era began and Battousai stopped being a Hitokiri. So, 19+11=30. Perhaps I'm wrong with some of my information, I'm going off of non-official manga translations... but I can't be too far from base, am I?

I know somewhere deep in that site there's a timeline with real dates in Kenshin's history.

Lemme think...he was Battousai at 14, married Tomoe 15, I think he stopped being Battousai at 18, then wandered 10 years. He meets Kaoru at Meiji 11. That makes him 28 going on 29.

Yeah, it's surprising. It makes Kenshin fall under the teenagers-doing-unbelievable-things-for-their-age category of anime characters. ^_^x

I thought it He was the Battousai at age 13 because he was born in 1851. The OVA took place in fall of 1864- to spring of 1865. the Bakumatsu was over in 1867 that would be 16 and the series took place in 1878 11 years later. I know that would be 27 so I guess he was born in 1850. Its just that I saw it somewhere that it was 1851 when someone else tried to do a timeline. either way it clearly said he was 28 in the show so everything else has to be adjusted so that it matches the 28 years.

Apparently the historical Miyamoto Musashi killed in his first swordfight at age 13.
