Does Deedlit have any background history of herself? I've only seen the OVA...

After reading this post you will probably think...spam. I have only seen the OVA too. I don't know her background either. Would like to know though.

Deed is the youngest of the high elves, the first born in over a millenia. She begged the elven elders of the Forest of No Return to be able to venture into the human realms and attempt to observe the cause of the disturbances of late. While there, she meets and falls for Parn and you know the rest ^_^ (Source: Deedlit's Tale manga) Her history is covered in even more detail in this manga, but there's a lot of spoilers, so I can't say much more...

Apparently, in the OAV, she's an elven princess, although I'm not too sure about this...

She is a member of what you would call a 'royal family' in human terms, the likes of which would be comparable to a duke or a high ranking nobleman.

To be called a princess does not imply the same thing as in the case of Princess Fianna, who is the daughter of a king. The Elves do not live in kingdoms, only vast cities at best with surrounding villages, and while they are supposed to be magnificent to behold, I'm am unaware of the existance of an Elven King. An Elder, sure, but not someone with an actual title as high as king.

Deedlit is merely the youngest born High Elf of her time and belongs to a lineage of high ranking elves, which is why Pirotess would call her a princess.

As for Deedlit's age, give me a sec, I can give it to you exactly, as it is given in the TV series. IIRC, she was 167 during the Incident at Fire Dragon Mountain. That would make her 162 during the War of Heroes, and 177 during the War of Kings.

That must mean that Deedlit has not much of a background history in the OVA's...But anyway 177 years old! That's a lot!
