Dub Casting of Noir

ADV’s Janice ("ladyg") Williams has been having a little fun with the fans over at Anime on DVD’s "The English Track" Forums by leading a guessing game regarding the casting for the upcoming Noir series. She was kind enough to pass along the official cast list to your ol' buddy, the Prophet. So without further ado, here is the cast for four of the primary roles:

"Mireille": Shelly Calene-Black ("Cleao" in Orphen, "JC Armack" in Sin)

"Kirika": Monica Rial ("Miharu" in Gasaraki, "Izumi" in Princess Nine)

"Chloe": Hilary Haag ("Nene" in Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040, "Ryo" in Princess Nine)

"Altena": Tiffany Grant ("Asuka" in Neon Genesis Evangelion, "Chocolate" in Sorcerer Hunters)

Those looking to get a Noir fix before next year’s DVD release need to stay tuned to this website. ADV’s very own dynamic duo of web design, "Carrot" and "Ashura," are hard at work designing a Noir website. When it goes live, we’ll be sure to announce it.

Nene as Chloe? Errrrr, I'm really not sure about that one.

But at least Miharu's voice is doing Kirika, that will work. I quite liked Miharu's english voice.

And Chloe would be ruined by Hillary Haag's "Menopausal Cat with Fran Drescher Stuck Down her throat being disemboweled by a rusty chainsaw" shriek of a terrible voice. :heh:

Yeah, she did a voice for Gasaraki as well, but it wasn't very good. It seems she was only decent as Nene.

Ah... I preffered Linna's voice much more. She did a voice in Gasaraki as well, and it was pretty good.

Anyhow, alas, I must now leave! But I shall be back! With a veangence! And perhaps a new toothbrush! :confused:
