Tenchi Universe

I just finished watching Tenchi Universe Ep 1 on Cartoon Network. At first I thought they were mixing Gundam Wing and Tenchi because of the "Mobile Suit" Mihoshi was using to capture Ryoko. I knew this was not the case when the suit tripped over a soda can and couldn't get up.

The first episode was OK, looks like it will pick up later though.

Oh, it'll pick up... but I still like Tenchi Muyo better.

i think muyo is funnier than universe, but universe is still better to me. my fav episode of universe is 'no need for conclusions' for certain reasons. i won't spoil it for people that haven't seen it.:)

i like muyo better, specially the scene when tenchi produced three lighthawk wings and defeated kagato with it. universe in not that bad either... :D

I like both... I like Tenchi Universe a lil better because... it ends. My fav. episode is "No Need For Ryoko" Even though its really sad :bawling:

I like muyo, but universe is good to. I don't like Tokyo much.

i kind of like them both, but i like TM a little bit better because it has that KAWAII ryo-oki scene that rei_ayanami_the_cabbit has mention in the "kawaii ryo-oki dance" section, but i wish it has an ending. and for tenchi in tokyo,i didn't like it very much for a couple of reason

I like Universe, it freaked me out at first because I thought that it was a continuation of muyo. I still havent seen all of Muyo, i'm saving for the DVD boxed set now, my Tenchi universe Vol 3 is in the mail no JOY!

yeah, universe was cool and it has an ending too. i mean, tenchi muyo(oav) was so hanging.... it doesnt have an ending while tenchi in tokyo wasnt as cool as universe.

neither can i, i don't like tokyo at all, the drawing on the other hand, is just awful.

muyo is my fav. universe comes next.

yeah, what i hate about tenchi in tokyo is the weird and really different drawing... i dont like it at all. i prefer the other two tenchi series.

Yeah, Tenchi Universe does start kinda weird, after seeing Tenchi Muyo. But it does get better...
