Well I guess your trying to avoid spoilers so you made a new thread. I least I hope thats the case, otherwise your blind.....

RahXephon is the first original production by Studio Bones. Studio Bones are responsible for such movies like, Cowboy Bebop Knockin On Heaven's Door, Escaflowne A Girl In Gaia. They also did the TV series Angelic Layer.

Studio Bones is consisted of ex-sunrise members, they are a new company but are made up of old hands. Sunrise was the company who did Gundam, Escaflowne, Cowboy Bebop, Scryed etc. The founder of Studio Bones was a producer on Vision Of Escaflowne.

I don't really want to wreck the plot for you, since the first 3 eps are meant to confuse you, they are taken from the main characters point of view, he doesn't know whats going on, and neither do you. Ep 4 and later the weirdness stops and it just becomes intriging.

In my opinion(for what it's worth) RahXephon is the best series so far this year. It's still airing in japan (ep 21 aired last night) and ADV have licensed it.

Expect RahXephon to come out halfway through next year to the end. I think it's been fast tracked along with Excel Saga, Noir and Full Metal Panic (in that order, with RahXephon last)

Of course you can watch fansubs (subbed upto 20 so far), but support the anime companies and buy the dvd release.
