No this is not another Penguin Ken hate thread.

Bastard! is a really cool anime series about this super powerful guy named Dark Schneider. I'm thinking of buying the series but I wanted to get everyone else's opinion first. I'm either going to buy this or Trigun so I'd like to know if this is better. I've only seen one episode of Bastard! so far but I thought it was pretty cool.

I'll say this: Dark Schneider is the funniest and cockiest person in the world. I just laughed sooooo hard when I watched the oavs. Funny sounding super attacks too. :D

Go for it, get Bastard! is hilarious and has lot of explosions and action.

i've seen eps1-4. it is very good. lots of magic. kinda' reminds me of a {much}less epic of Loduss War with a Fist of the North Star twist of following powerful guy around. much better plot though, and it's full of the cursing, slight nudity, and all that. enjoy

its pretty good. i have the series and its pretty good. i think i got the ova but im not sure. :D its funny when yoko gets pissed at rushe (ithink thats how ya spell his name)
