Now if Rally owns a Professional Gun Shop, why on earth wouldn't she have a Class-3 Licence from the A.T.F? Now May being in trouble for Illegal Explosives and being in violation of Dangerous Material Handling Laws makes sense, since she's just a Backyard Explosives Worker. But Rally should know better. She should be kept up to date with all these types of things.

It's all about the effort Wolfpac, the effort
Maybe it got revoked..
Or she 'forgot' to renew it..

Well that happens... Sometimes, okay, a lot.. :heh:
A class three is not required to operate a store selling non NFA (National Firearms Act of 1934) firearms..
A class three IS required if you intend to sell supressors(silencers) automatic weapons, or destructive devices i/e grenade launchers, grenades, mortars, rocket launchers, artillery, etc..(Interestingly, flame throwers are NOT considered "firearms" by the BATF..)
A class three liscence is both pricey, and invasive, but required if you wish to deal in the above..
A misconception is that a class three is needed to own a selective fire weapon, or destructive device.. This is incorrect..
One first needs to live in a state where posession of such is possible.. Then a purchase is arranged, and one has to get a background check by the local law enforcement agency.(usually handled or at least assisted by the dealer brokering the transaction)
The form for transfer is submitted to the BATF, with $200.00 for the required tax stamp, and within a few months one would recieve the stamp, and the paperwork required to legally posess the article..
While much simplified this is how one can legally own "the fun stuff"..
