The Kuwabara Haters!

out of boredom and too much thinking I came up with this to say about the Kuwabara haters(well I don't think they hate him that much)...

Now I've talked to some yyh fans and seen some people talk about how bad Kuwabara english va sounds..

well ok at first I thought it sound weird:eek2: but it grew on me and ever time I hear him talking I bust out laughing..even his japanese va sounds funky (in a good)

and now I think both va's did a very good job of making kuwabara look hot:kawaii:

and I just love Chris Sabat!:naughty:

I love kuwabara. He's so funny! I love his voice too (english) I havent heard his japanese voice though. I wouldent actually by the subs anyway.

i dont mind chris sabat's voice as kuwabara, i think its the right voice for him!

I don't like Kuwabara's english dub. I was looking forward to actually seeing the YYH dub after so many good reviews, buuuuut... i was disappointed. Yusuke and Hiei's voice got switched. Hiei became 'softer' in the english dub. Kurama... don't even make me start. Kuwabara sounds like a gorilla. he SHOULD sound obnoxious but HE SOUNDS STUPID. He sounds like that stupid character from DBZ whose name i can't remember right now. It's the fat samurai guy i think... kuwa-chan DOES NOT sound like an idiot.

I dont know... I didn't particularly like the dub. I really hate it. I'm just glad that I can at least watch it on tv now if i do get the chance.

ne, anyone but me notice that kuwa chan is the only 'non' pretty boy in the gang? everyone else is bishy. tee hee.

I like the way Hiei sounds in the english dub, yeah he sounds a bit 'soft' but hey I still love it! and Kurama's doesn't sound as girly as before..but he does sounds like a nerd...but hey I still love it! I love both the english dub and the japanese verison:D

I really didn't like Kuwabara in the first eps but then in the later eps he was ok...I think his dubbed voice fits him well, like his japanese voice :rolleyes:

Kuwabara English dubbed would be my second worst dubbed character I've ever heard.

Ok, I'm going to be honest. I have only seen YYH dubbed in English. And when I found out that Funi was doing the dubbing, I thought, "Oh great, Here we go...":yawn: When i saw it, I thought the other characters were dubbed well. But during the first eps. I knew Kuwabara was supposed to sound obnoxious.....and boy, Did he.:| But after the series got rolling, he started to sound better..and although the voice is still a bit annoying, it has started to grow on me.:nod:

Yeah, I think hate is pretty strong word to use!!! IMO they dislike Kazuma maybe because of the way he looks and act.. based on what I've heard from my former classmates in High school! Like of all the characters, his the only one who looks not that attractive...(among the heroines I mean)

Kazuma you mean kuwabara. Kazuma is from scryed remember.

Anyway kuwabara is my favorite character and I think his voice was exellent in jap it was horrible in english.

Ne wayz I just love kuwabara in japanese, he sounds much funnier.. I just die of laugher when he does his high pitch laughing and high pitch yulps..

He sounds cool and funny is english but not as funny in japanese

Same here. :lol: I like kuwabara's japanese voice, and I tolerate his english voice. It's a little annoying that they always have to associate big dumb characters with that same kind of dumb voice, but I'm not too irritated while I'm listening to it.

Kurama's Japanese voice... :lol: When I first heard it, I was like, "wha--?!" I never thought of him as having a feminine voice, but man does he ever. Hiei's voice I love both in Japanese and English. I think it fits him both ways, although I might have a smidgeon more liking for the seiyuu. Yusuke's voice, I really don't have an opinion about.

I like yusuke's in both english and in japanese..both voices are very good..

and I don't have a fav. for Kurama..I just can't make up my mind on which is better..

I love Yusuke's Japanese voice. Sasaki Nozomu just nailed the part! He's perfect as Yusuke. Kuwabara's Jap. voice is funny, it's great!

Having a feminine voice suits Kurama perfectly. Of course, no one could have done it better than Ogata Megumi herself.

I have never heard any of the characters' voices in Japanese. I have only watched the show in English, so I couldn't say which is better, but I think that all the vas are well suited for the characters. I think Kuwabara's voice suits him well, because it just seems to fit his personality and looks. Kurama's voice? Well, I like it. Kurama is a (sort of) feminine guy, and he needs a feminine voice.
I like Kuwabara. What he lacks in looks, he makes up for in personality. He is a very loyal person, and he sticks to his honor code. Plus, he loves kittens!!:kawaii:

I know how it can be annoying to have to listen to the same voice style for all the Big Goof Guys (kuwabara), but in this series it really fits his manner. Not like Yajirobee in DBZ where he never seems to fit:( , Kuwabara talks enough where he can grow on you if you don't instantly like the americanVA. The other voices seem to fit fairly well. Hiei's VA is right for him, all calm untill the place goes to hell! Kurama derserves the girly voice 'cause he fights with flowers! :lol: What did you expect him to do?

LoL I agree, in the first movie dub (the short one) kurama's voice is all deep :eek: scary. I prefer him with a soft sounding voice I mean c'mon what type of guy with a deep voice would go around kicking butt with a flower? :rolleyes:

Umm... ok, I just watched YYH the movie, and I don't like Kuwabara's voice. It's different! I guess the one from the episodes grew on me too much, cuz now when he talks, he sounds strange to me... I must have just gotten used to his dub on the episodes!
Oh, well... I'll just have to get used to it...

I like Kuwabara alot and the dub is really good. Very fitting. He's my favorite character in the show.

I think its all about his face, I mean look at it, even the villains looked even better! Out of all the four of them he's the one who looks not that well, compared to the others. Hiei is short but still looks cool!
