Stupid Question

Lodoss War. That any good?

Yeah, I know it's a stupid question by everyone's standards but I've found out about this anime only recently.
My first encounter with Lodoss War was that AMV (Unforgiven) and I thought it looked interesting. Inrtersting from the perspective of a guy who like heroic fantasy (David Gemmell, Toikien and RPG's). I did a search on the web and it seems LW is one of the most popular anime around (Where have I been?! :sulkoff: ).

So, is Loddoss War any good? And worthy of purchase?

Oh yes, Lodoss War is definetly an excellent anime! It has some pretty good violence, a somewhat lame romance and a nice fantasy setting.

Worth buying? Perhaps, depending on for how much and how rich you are of course. I'd say it's definetly a must have sooner or later, though. :)

Yes, it quite a good anime. Both OVA and TV series are masterpieces and were both awarded 5 star ratings at eboards.com and otaku anime opinions.

Like I said, it's a series of its own. A masterpiece to put it bluntly. Both Japanese and English languages in the OVA's are quite well done. I haven't seen any of the TV series yet.

Well, i recently went down to my local anime store and I picked up the first VHS tape of the OAV.

And what did I think of it?

It was great! Needless to say, I'm hooked and quite keen to see more! :thumbup:
Now if only Madman would get the series down here...:(
