OMG! Gasaraki is sooooo good!

I don't want this to sound like a rant. I really don't. But then I start thinking about it again and OMG it is so bloody good!

Ok, I finished Gasaraki on Friday night, and spent the rest of the weekend in a kind of numb daze at how good it was. Despite this daze I was still able to purchase The Fellowship Of The Ring DVD and watch that last night, and actually managed to stop thinking about Gasaraki, if only for three hours.

Well the ending was both what I expected and what I didn't expect at all. Its cataclysmic ending both resolved many things and left many things open and unexpalined, which is actually a pretty good thing because then you still have stuff to think about once it's over, instead of forgetting about it quickly if everything was resolved and explained.

What I don't get is why there is so little discussion on Gasaraki when there is so much to discuss. Later on I'll be starting some new threads about specific things about Gasaraki, particularly unexplained things, so we can bring up theories and so forth.

This thread can be used for raving and the likes I guess. I'll post my own rave on it a little later on.

Yes, this is a really incredible series, and I'd be happy to discuss any topic you make about it. So far, most of the topics have been things like "what is gasaraki?", and "should i watch/buy it?", and only a few about the storyline/material of the anime itsself.

Yes, hopefully there will be more story threads. In fact I'll start one once I'm finished doing this. Though it still would be good for more people to have an interest in watching and/or buying the series, thus expanding the fanbase (hopefully).

I hope to buy the boxed set when it comes out, but that's pending on cash, as I kinda need to make sure I have some cash to pay off my college loans when they start becoming due at the end of next year.

yea i just finished the series myself and yes its great

i especially like the way on episode 25 they resolved the whole political and science story, and on 26 they resolved the spiritual side of things....awesome

I think you mean episodes 24 & 25, but yeah that was great how they did that.

I particularly liked how they did the introduction for the last episode with Kazekyo (I think that's his name) talking about all that stuff.
