Ok, most of you will probably know who this is, I don't know his name, in fact I don't think he has a name, but those who have finished or nearly finished the series will know him as the CEO of Symbol. I used the term "Mr. Purple haired guy" so it wouldn't really spoil it for other people.
Anyhow, Mr. CEO here, I found was a remarkably intruiging character. We can use this thread for discussing him and anything that relates to him. You see him first off in Belgistan when he takes in Yushiro and Miharu for a little while. Even then I had the impression that he may be a Symbol guy, or perhaps even someone more important and powerful than both Symbol and Gowa. Well, I was in the right direction, as it becomes more and more apparent that he is the one behind the mysterious deep voice that seems to command Symbol, and later on it is more or less confirmed that he is Symbol's CEO.
We know he is a Kai. We see him during the flashback episodes in Medieval/Ancient Japan. In those two episodes he seemed like a foreigner, mainly from his clothes, I'm not sure whether this has any significance or not though. He, like the other Kai, have been continuosly reincarnated now and again through time. He has immaculate knowledge of his previous life, and also has extraordinary power in the corporation Symbol. How he started or inherited somethign as powerful as Symbol is a mystery, perhaps due to his awareness of his previous lives and his knowledge of Kais and Gasara itself. It would most likely have been him that knew about the Kugai and so create the "Fake" technology that Symbol employs.
He, like the eldest Gowa brother, Kaskyoe I think his name was (probably not spelt right), wants to summon Gasara. However his purpose it appears is different from our Gowa friend. To me, it almost seemed as if he wished to return to Gasara in order to finally rid himself of the curse of continuous rebirth. To free himself from the cycle he was bound to as a Kai. He is also the opposite in terms of character "position" to that of Kaskyoe, where Kaskyoe is both visually symbolically and characteristically "dark", Mr. CEO is "white/bright/light", almost bathed in light when you see him in the final episode. Mr. CEO is also the higher power, and this is clearly demonstrated many times, particularly in comparison to Nashida when they are talking in that theatre: Mr. CEO is elevated o nthe stage, bathed in light, whereas Nashida is in the aisle, shrouded in darkness.
