Fushigi Yuugi & Ayashi No Ceres

I am a VERY BIG Yuu Watase fan, and both Fushigi Yuugi and Ayashi No Ceres are incredible manga series. I've seen all of the Fushigi Yuugi TV series, as well as both OVAs and the interview special (with "Hang in there, Nakago!"). Ayashi No Ceres has just begun its run on TV in Japan, and there was a huge issue of lack of funding and episodes, so I think perhaps the TV series will take a turn to be a series slightly independent of the original manga. Sometimes this is a good thing, but I have to see more of AnC to be able to tell...

At the same time, there is the new OVA of Fushigi Yuugi that is covering the "Den" novels, beginning with Genrou Den.*Wai Wai!! Tasuki! Tasuki! I like Shun'u, can 'ya tell?*
For a while I've been aware of the release, I just have no idea WHEN it's coming out. *_*

Fushigi Yuugi's good, I have seen most of the series and all OVA's. the bad thing was, i saw the OVA's before the last two/three eps of the series - which made me ask why did Tamahome become Taka, etc.

I haven't heard anything about a third FY ova, where did you read about that?

AnC (manga and anime) have both been picked up now by Viz so it'll be interesting to see what they make of it. I've got the scripts for the first 4 eps so I might sub it for myself to see if it's any good. If I can be bothered ^^;

Oh, it's comin' all right--th' third FY OVA is to cover the Den novels. I've read about it all over the place, but the first I heard of it was in the Japanese Anime/Manga/etc. magazine, NEWTYPE. It's going to be amazing...*eyes shine*

As for the AnC Anime and Manga, I've read all of the manga, and I knew about Viz getting the rights for American release. The Anime has incredible quality, and I'm on the constant lookout to see if I can get ahold of it--so far, I have the OP, ED and previews, as well as countless screencaps. I adore Fushigi Yuugi and any thing that Watase Yuu does. She is the nicest sweetest person you would ever want to meet. She RULES!

I am looking forward to seeing ANC and the gaidens animated if they are still planning on doing it. The studio was saying if ANC didn't do well, they wouldn't animate them! ;_;

I _REALLY_ can't say how much I wanna see th' Novels animated...if I had any money, I'd probably contribute 'ta th' cause..
