View Full Version : This might possibly happen to Inu Yasha o.O;;

I, for some odd reason, thought that this would make a decent ending for Inu Yasha. I think this has a good chance of happening.

I think that Inu Yasha might may make a choice of staying with Kogome as a full human o.O;; I mean, he can already go through the well freely, and Kikyo made some comment about when Shikon no Tama goes so will her power. Seeing how Kogome got her power from the reincarnated Kikyo she'll loose her ability to travel from her present to the past and vice versa. I'm sure Inu Yasha will want to stay with Kogome o.o;;

I might have mixed things up from the subs i've gotten a hold of, though -_-;; I know that this probably sounds a bit like jumping the gun, but I think it has a good chance of happening.

Hmmm... that's just about the only way I can see the story ending now that I've thought about it. Would be quite dramatic for Takahashi-Dono to do a thing like that, though. :D

Yeah, I think, inevitably, that's how it'll end. Either Inuyasha will return to Kagome's time and spend the rest of his days with her, or Kagome will remain in the fuedal states era with him. In either possible solution, Inuyasha will undoubtedly become fully human.

I wouldn't say it's really "dramatic," though, since such a scenario seems to be the most obvious way of giving closure to the series. Like with Ranma; it was pretty predictable that he and Akane would eventually fall in love and get married, and that's what happened (although, I actually haven't seen the end of the series, that's what I've been told and I wasn't surprised...).

I'd like to see one of the main characters die, myself, but that's just because I'm really weird like that and I enjoy sad endings. If I had my way, though, I wouldn't end Inuyasha at all. ^_^

With how crappy Kogome studying time is, she might as well stay back with Inu Yasha, however, she has a lot more to loose than Inu Yasha seeing how she has an actual family. If i'm right, she should loose her power when Shikon no Tama kicks the bucket, i believe thats what Kikyou talked about earlier. She won't be able to pass times anymore, and she'll probably have to destroy Skikon no Tama in her time if she wants to stay in her time.

I might be wrong >.<

Oh man...it would be cool to see Sesshoumaru actually check up on his brother in Kogome's time if Inu Yasha stays with her. Sesshoumaru might have changed even more over the years o.o;;

Or, think on Rurôni Kenshin OVA 3, Inuyasha might even be killed.

How is these two related?

I think it might turn out differently...in Vision of Escaflowne for instance, that Hitomi would stay in the other world or vis versa...however that it wasn't that at all, and i was a bit surprised by it. :eek:

it does seem to me that inuyasha will probably end up becoming human using the shikon no tama (i mean, he was willing to do it before for kikyou, right?) but i:m hoping that the author will find some way to keep kagome and inuyasha together without that happening. after all inuyasha without his youkai powers is pretty much ranma with longer hair. *grin*

Tristan9480: If i'm right, she should loose her power when Shikon no Tama kicks the bucket, i believe thats what Kikyou talked about earlier.

erm, i took that to mean that without the responsibility of the shikon no tama she could live like a normal human, but not that she would lose her special powers. after all, i:d guess she:d still need them to protect her village.
because i:m reading the japanese manga i might have made a mistake, but wasn:t kikyou a priestess of her village before she got the jewel?

I think she was still a priestess when she was given the Jewel

yeah, i:ve just finished reading a some more of the manga, and kikyou did have her powers before she got the jewel, and the jewel was placed in her care (i don:t know who by though yet) because her pure soul would keep the jewel from becoming evil. now i:m just about to find out how the jewel was made exactly... it looks too hard for me to read wthout a dictionary though :rolleyes:

aaaanyway, i don:t think kagome will lose her powers, in conclusion.

Maybe I received a badly translate episode for that part ^^;;
I think I might have the Dvd were she yacked about loosing her powers and becoming a normal human being. *looks*

Ack!! I might have missunderstood her....
I think she might have said that if Shikon No Tama was gone she could lead a normal life. Of course, I'm guessing being attack by monsters and others things even with the jewel was gone is considered normal for her o.o;;

Kikyo doesn't say nothing about losing her powers, she said that if the jewel was gone she would have a normal life, i believe, meaning that she wouldn't have the responsabilities of protecting the jewel, and i also believe that if they were attacked by monsters and other things were because the monsters were attracted by the power of the jewel. In any case, i believe that that in the end Kagone will not loose her powers, what will permite her to still travelling thru time and being with Inuyasha.

Now i'm confused >< In the English dub of Inuyasha, Kagome was in shock because InuYasha took the Shikon shard from her and she couldn't pass through the well. Inu Yasha then shortly place the tree into the well after Kagome had tried to go through.

Not having the jewel was the main reason she couldn't go back I think. The tree Inu-Yasha placed in the well was likely just for good measure.

what if kagome uses the jewel to become a demon, 'cause she got corrupted by it? :D
