did an anime song or cd ever make you cry?

it happened to me a couple of times.i came home from school one time and opened up my mailbox.to my surprise i found that my EOE and RRK OVA soundtracks came.i immedately ripped them out of the cardboard box and plugged them into my stereo.i had so much antisipation for the CDs and they both exceeded my expectations by far. i listened to the music for about two hours straight(that's how long both of the CDs were).when they were both done i must have went through atleast one box of tissues. the music was so beautiful but yet somber. they made me cry.

when i listened to them i relived all of the moments that took place in both of the animes through the music. i didn't leave my room again that entire day. it was like watching something through your ears.

after that amazing experience of music i realized that it was a very good indication that they were excellent CDs.

they are now my favorite anime soundtracks because they impacted me the most.

Yes, some anime songs get me down. I feel depressed or sad after them, but I don't cry.

Komm susser Todd from Evangelion is the only one that's ever made me really bawl. the frst time I listened to it, I was felling EXACTLY the way that the person in the song was feeling. I was at a place in my life where everything was fallyng appart and to hear it set to music was too much. I still cry when i hear it now because I don't ever what to be in that place again.

almost all of the music in EOE and the RRK OVAs in orchistral.the only songs that are vocal are Thanatos and Kom Susser Tod and they are in english.

Certain songs off VOX and EoE albums I've heard have made me cry alittle bit, but I was broken hearted at the time also, may have been because of that.

Well, The 'X' soundtrack has made me really depressed and close to the point of tears..its the last song. After the harsh music of the first 23 tracks..the subtle track which follows the 23 is so nice..I love it! ^>^

I once listened to the Pokemon TV soundtrack all at once, and it put me in the same state I get after twenty minutes of good meditation: a mentally detached epiphany, where I can almost feel the synapses firing off random thoughts.

welp, komm susser tod, blue (bebop), rain(bebop), and green bird (yes, bebop) got be blurry-eyed, but no sobs. last time I cried was when the dentist pulled out 4 teeth in 5 minuted with practically no novicane (which is bad in itself) you havent experienced pain until you experience that.


anyway, i just cant imagine bawling or anything at just comm. or rhythm emoion...they're too upbeat to get me down.

Matsu Takako makes great slow and depressing songs. When I feel really down, and that I listen her songs, sometimes tears appear in my eyes, but i never went through a tissu box... but listening to those songs when I'm depressed makes me feel better.
