I thought DVD set 1 was good, and set 2 was almost as good, but not great. Is it really worth geting the final set? If it gets better then I will go ahead and get it.

Hell No! Go on Ebay.com and try to find one with a $20 value. Somebody is defenently ripping you off if they're selling DVD's for $45. (I know that it has 8 episodes, but still, that's too much!)

Thanks, but what I care more about is whether or not it is worth getting the thing.

Get it f00l! LOL!
Seriously, even $45 is worth it. Though I can't see paying $30 for each volume of J to X. You should be able to find J Again for around $35 new. That's a good deal, but J Again is the OVA series that only true SMJ fans will enjoy.

Hell, I got all the whole SMJ series on VHS for that much. Surely you can find a better deal than that for one DVD. It is one of the best anime serieses of all time though.

Was it the official 6 DVD's? I get two for that much from a store but for less if I find another method such as ebay.

I don't agree based on the first two volumes. To each his own. It is cute though.

 ... Dude if you want to get the smj series, best buy is the way to go. They've got the complete collections of j, j again, and j to x, even R for only $15 bucks or less. If you paid anything over $25 you made a big mistake. :nono:
