Ok may i start off that ive only watched up to episode or may i say layer 6 KIDS.

Im really enjoying Lain, anyway im still a bit confused with the wired. Ive got its like the internet except more sophisticated but its just wierd how Lain like projects herself into the wired is that right? Its just confusing but its so good!! Need to watch more Lain.

So anyway can somebody tell me more about the wired.

yeah, you've gotta' keep watching. then, if you haven't come to a conclusion on what YOU believe the Wired is, then come and ask {or come just to share your idea of what it is}...

all in all, no one can give you a definite "the Wired is.." answer because what's wonderful about this series is that it can be interpreted in many different perspectives. we could certainly share with you more of what we believe it is though ^_~

When thinking about the Wired, I think along two lines: The Internet-like singluar. Computers, networking equipment, the connecting medium, and the software.

The plural. The human energy running through the physical medium above.

It's like a religion thing. If you mis-interprete something, there is a good chance we can prove it wrong, but we can't prove it correct...

I kinda think it's like the internet, but with more of a cult following in some sense. Lain is probably the most bizzare anime I have seen---I look forward to finishing the series:D
