Well....Boogiepop Phantom

The date: Septmber the 11th

I turned 15 today, and finally it clicked, a birthday is just and excuse to punch someone.
No real purpose.

Today I obtained:

Jack ----
and a bit of crap.

Amongst this pile of crap Is a dvd called Boogiepop Phantom
I was given it by the one person I hate the most, My brothers
Ex-Girlfriend, it wasnt just Brendans girlfriend, but brendans girlfriend in an attempt to suck up to me so she can stay at my house.

It wasn't even te first Dvd it's dvd 4.

Well this thread isn't making much, if any sense so I'll straiten things up a bit.

What I want to know is:

1) Is this anime decent?

2)Who thinks I should cast it into the depts of my cupboard and buy my own copy.

and finally,

3)Would episodes 10,11 and 12 make any sense alone or at least entertain me with there bright flickering colours?

1... i've seen alot of anime, and it's my favourite anime.
2... who cares who got it for you, it's an amazing series.
3... donot watch them out of order and the last thing you'll see in Boogiepop Phantom is bright flickering colours.

Boogiepop is a dark and twisted series. definitely for people who personally enjoy things which most other find to be; out of the ordinary, confusing character relations, or somewhat disturbing. i highly recommend Boogiepop Phantom to people who find the following things appealing:

psychological disorder
composite humans
cloak and hat
scarecrow
mysterious serial murders
mo murder
girls with suicidal tendencies
boy eating bugs
snake eye
timelines in blenders
red balloons
evolving children
everything is phantom
panuru

Get the first DVD, watch it, be immersed in it. You wont see much stranger stuff out there. That is why it is so cool.

Listen to heart havok the wise, at least when it comes to Boogiepop Phantom.
.. note though; it's a "special" type of anime I wouldn't reccomend to anyone, some people gets freaked out and/or doesn't understand a crap.

and please do buy them, all of these people have experienced
the darkness, including me, so take their word for it.
