Indeed, this is cool news.

Specifically, El-Hazard will be taking over DBZ's Wednesday spot, not the sunday spot.

El-Hazard starts on September 25th. DBZ will continue on Sunday and won't end until November 1'st. On Novermber 10th DBGT takes that over. Slayers Next continues and will eventually become Slayers Try.

I think International channel will show the OVA, then OVA 2. After that, I don't know if they'll move into Wanderers or the Alternate World Series.

IC always shows their anime either subtitled or raw. DBZ is only raw because America hasn't produced an uncut subtitled version of the entire 291 episodes.

Since El-Hazard has been Subtitled, they will probably show it in that format.

its cool news, my feelings are mixed though, i wish it went to SciFi for the mainstream appeal, nonetheless, im happy its on tv but sad because i barely hear people talking about anime on tv in IC
:(

Its better for me. I really don't care if my Anime is subtitled or dubbed. I prefer the DVD's so I have both options, but IC has the benefit of being completly uncut, even if the material isn't considered appropiate for an American Audience. For instance, they don't edit out the nudity or language in their anime.

The Best thing about IC, though, is the fact that they are very good about showing every last scrap of an anime. With DBZ finishing, their wasting no time in immediately going to DBGT. After Slayers, they followed up immediately with Slayers Next, and I have no doubt that Slayers Try will follow, and maybe even the OVA's will be shown.

When Captain Tylor was shown, the OVA series was shown right after the TV series ended.

They will probably show all of El Hazard, though in what particular order I don't know. Showing OVA 1 and 2 seems like the most logical one.

according to the IC website, they list El hazard as dubbed in english. i don't know if that is accurate or not though. it seems a bit strange if it turns out to be true.

what is el hazard? is it good? funny? serious?

Yes, it is in fact Dubbed. Perhaps IC will start showing their Anime in groups of 3. One Raw, one subtitled, one dubbed.

Anyways, I don't really care. Its on International Channel, which means its Uncut!!

El Hazard is part Comedy part serious, in the same way that Tenchi Muyo is. It was made by the same company as Tenchi (AIC), and was released in America by Pioneer as well.

They will show the OVA's first, and while I'm not completly sure, I think that implies that both OVA and OVA 2 will be shown. Next comes the Wanderers, which, like Tenchi Universe, is an alternate telling of the story. I have no idea if El Hazard: The Alternate World, will be shown (A follow up to the OVA storyline).

i just the saw the first episode and i thought it was very good. it was very funny and dub was good also. considering i haven't heard the japanese track, i haven't nothing to compare it to.

the first episode was 44 minutes long. are there any more episodes that are extended?
