must not tell... must not tell.. must not tell........

heh... who cares... Miaka chose Taka in the end... never anyone with whoever's memories... I'd be confused as she is... and uh... Tama/Taka-chan was an idiot on the series for dramatic reasons... even though it wasn't necessary... like some scenes that were obviously wrong and he had to stay... and he didn't... he ran away and moped in his apartment...

bwahahahah....

i think it was both... remember the first four(?) memory stones were destroyed by ______ (what was his name again?) but when Taka merged with the evil Tamahome he regained the other parts of his memory

Okay....it was Taka. You note that on one of the last pages of volume eighteen that Miaka and Taka embrace with a GIANT piccie of Tama behind them. I had this weird idea that he got reincarnated as their kid...check out the manga. It'll freak you out man....fry yer brain and stuff. *should lay off the pixie sticks*

wasn't the last scenes of the OAV show Miaka and Taka together, then she said "at last, i can walk together with you forever", "right, TAMAHOME" she was obviously talking to Taka(she was facing him) and to Tamahome too(because, well she called his name) and also didn't Taka told the "evil" Tamahome that he'll accept everything that he is. I believe that they're memories merged and became one person, and besides the "evil" tamahome was just another person with Tamhome's memories and powers

I'm going fer manga here...so I'm saying that her whole, "Ne, Tamahome?" was internal monolouge and she was speaking to the spirit of Tamahome that she believed would forever stay with her in the form of Taka...but then again, Miaka IS one of anime's biggest idiots, so we can control ourselves in the prescence of her misconceptions...Anywho. Taka and Tamahome are two different people...a die hard Tama fan like me noticed the way Taka's hair parted and fell slightly different, stayed one color (basically) and didn't wildly fluxuate from episode to episode and he had a LOT less attitude. Tama started as the series' resident bad boy until Tasuki hit the scene, but there isn't ONE thing Taka really does to suggest he's a bad boy...with the exception of the roof-top brawl. He's far too sweet and sappy...sure, Tama was a sap but NOT THAT BAD....Suzaku, sheesh.

All I know is that Taka and Tamahome are the same person. It's Taka with Tamahome's memories, by the way...

Taka and Tamahome are one...

Tamahome, w/c was created by Tenko using the memory stones

Tenko didn't destroyed the memory stones 'coz he already used the stones to create Tamahome and only tricked Miaka and the others to belive that the memory stones were actually been destroyed...

Duh.

Sorry...::coughs:: Had 'ta do that.

Buuuuut, you DO realize that there were SO many differences between the REAL Tamahome (as in, afore the OVA) and Taka? I think that Taka was simply the MiakaWorld version of Tamahome, made to keep the sweet, tooth-rotting princess happy. ::growls, dripping sarcasm::

The REAL Tamahome died. Seriously.

Nevermind, you people will never understand, what with your Pioneer dub and subs....

maybe when Tamahome went to Miaka's world, his memory was erased and his identity was changed to Taka...

I dunno... I have not watched the Fushigi Yuugi OVA 2 yet, gonna watch on Monday...
I think Miaka will choose Taka, whether she likes it or not. Anyway, Taka is the Tamahome in real life...
I'll see if I'm right or wrong on Monday...
