View Full Version : Question about the mangas (spoilers probably)
Ok, after seeing some of the events in the mangas after the end of the anime, I've decided to get more of them. I'm not drowning in money or anything, so I wouldn't want to buy volumes that have the same content as the anime though, as I've already seen all of it. So anyways, could somebody please tell me which volume of manga I should get first if I want to start from where the anime ended?

Easy, volume one ^_~. You haven't seen that one yet. Trust me.
Errr... thanks. Ok, I'll rephrase that then.
Which volumes of the manga cover the same part of the plot as the anime?

Oh, that's a toughy.. Off the top of my head I'd say volumes three through fourteen. Get someone else to confirm that as well please ^^;.
The anime ends halfway through volume 13 of the manga, so I suggest getting at least volumes 13-23. Volumes 1-3 show many new interesting material not in the anime so I suggest getting these, too. But I guess only volumes 13-23 will do if you just want to know how the story continues after the eclipse.

the series ends at volume 13, chapter 7. I knew that off the top of my head :sweatdrop: however their are several sections from volume 1 - 12 which you havne't seen. e.g. episode 1 is a compression of volume 1-3

Plus you'll miss all the little facts. After reading the manga my opinion changed about the majority of the main cast. A lot of development is left out in the anime because (i think) it's too graphic or extreme. Reading the part of the manga that you've seen in the series already is well worth the experience and the added insight.
