Been out for a long time but just wanted to share this with you guys.

The gun is an AK series (probably AK-47). This is what happens to a rifle that is going full auto. The guy is pushing the cook-off limit. Cook-Off is when a round detonate inside a rifle due to the extreme heat.

This gives me nightmares because I reload. Guy destroys his M1D Springfield Garand (worth over 1K) because of bad load data. Picture attached. Maybe I should post more Kaboom!!! pictures.

I found a site for a German company that sell high speed photgraphy and video equipment. Scroll down the menu to find 'examples' and click on 'movies'. They have a sample movie of a .45 ACP pistol firing in slow motion. There are also 2 links to sites that have other movies by this company. One of the links has good movies of an AK-47 firing with a cover removed so you can see the some of its inner workings in slow motion. There is also good slow motion footage of a Glock 18 and an exploding revolver. It's bloody awesome!

Worst I ever saw was an AN M-2 coming apart from improper headspace.. Near a tenth of an inch off.. The belt feed pawl was near 100 meters to the right of the weapon, and the feed cover was definitely bent.

Myself? Owen SMG, and Seller&Bellot 115 grain 9X19MM ammo..

Had enough impetus to shove the bolt back, and grab a fresh round but NOT enough to grab the sear.. Ran 32 rounds out non stop..
