Hmmm... Don't usually think in favorites, but might just as well give it a try.
-Character: Sesshoumaru, he's cool and only Kikyo comes close in the series. Everybody else is either too silly, psychopatic etc for my taste. :) I'm not really fond of Miroku (Takahashi seems to have a fetish-fetish in making anime :D ). Kagome and Inuyasha manage to annoy me at times, but they're the lead characters, so I'm getting used to them. :p
-Episode: Probably 81-82 where Sesshoumaru and Naraku have a little fight (more of a juicy tidbit than a spoiler imo :) ). Ryokusetsei (sp?) fight was also quite enjoyable. Hmmm... least favorite would probably be one of the silly fillers, the Shippou vs junior lightning dude for example.

who is your favorite inuyasha character:
I guess it will be Sesshoumaru for me too...
I think the reasons are obvious.
And like with Alesil, Kikyou comes on a close second...
what is your favorite episode:
I have some, and the two I can think of are
13 - Black Haired Inuyasha
43 - Finaly Broken... (better not continue)
who is your least favorite inuyasha character:
Myouga-jiji.
He's just annoying, though bareable
what is your least favorite episode:
I don't think I really have such thing, but the episode Alesil mentioned is pretty close...
of the two, who is better, inuyasha or sesshoumaru:
Sesshoumaru. But Inuyasha is pretty good too...
Sorry for stealing Alesil ideas...

who is your favorite inuyasha character:
Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha are tied for first place. ^_^ And to prove this, I've got the 15" Inuyasha plushie, but I'm planning on cosplaying Fluffy-sama.
what is your favorite episode:
Well, I haven't seen as far as the rest of you guys (only seen up till about 55 or 56, and haven't been able to dl it during the summer), but I think my faves would have to be ep 13 (black hair), and around 50-55 (where he's fighting the dragon thingy). They're just so cool and cute!
who is your least favorite inuyasha character:
I know I'm going to get hit for this but...Kikyo. Yes, she's important to the story and all, but she annoys the crap out of me. She needs to just die again.
what is your least favorite episode:
I don't actually have a least-favorite at the moment. Least, not that I can remember.
of the two, who is better, inuyasha or sesshoumaru:
Sesshoumaru, but only by a small margin. ^_^

I just watched episode 35 again and I just had to add it to my favourite episodes list.
It's the episode where Inuyasha learns the Kaze no Kizu, Sesshoumaru learn to appreciate Tenseiga, Rin shows up and so does Kouga...

For one that's a very bad reason and secondly it isn't true anyway.

It may be a perfectly fine reason for Brian West 0, Alesil. And do you necessarily know that Inuyasha is not stronger than Sesshoumaru?
***Spoilers***
The first time the two of them fought, Inuyasha made Tessaiga transform and actually sliced off Sesshoumaru's left arm. Then there was the episode where Sesshoumaru managed to get a hold of Tessaiga, but Inuyasha finally got it back. That fight ended in a draw, I believe, with Inuyasha out cold but using Tessaiga's barrier to keep Sessh-sama at bay. Then there was episde 35, as pointed out, where Inuyasha actually gets Kaze no Kizu to work against Sesshoumaru, and only the fact that Sessh-sama had Tenseiga saved him. Now Inuyasha has Bakuryuha, which is a very powerful attack. Have you actually seen any episodes where there's a fight between the two of them with an absolute definite winner? ::curious:: Please note, I've only seen up through episode 55 or 56, and don't really like spoilers, so if you have seen a fight beyond 56 where one of them wins, just say yes or no. ^_^

You're right, the big difference is Doggy usually needs the element of suprise to beat Fluff down. Fair and one-on-one Doggy's chances of winning more that half. That asside, would doggy himself survive the severng of his own arm ? I doubt it, as lesser injuries have proven near fatal to him in the past.
Now why did Doggy draw even when Fluff had the Tessaiga ? It was Kagome. How did he cut off Fluff's arm ? Once again Kagome. Doggy on his own wouldn't have the strength to beat his brother on his own. But let's cast that asside as well. You know of the Bakuryuha, then you know the Tessaiga was once broken (in episode 43 I think ..). When the sword was fixed it was heavy with Doggy's tooth because this was the first time he had to protect himself with his own strength. This means up until the moment he beat Ryuukossei (cut his heart) he was still being protected by his father and perhaps Toutousai.
Then there was episde 35, as pointed out, where Inuyasha actually gets Kaze no Kizu to work against Sesshoumaru, and only the fact that Sessh-sama had Tenseiga saved him. Wait. This is where you lose me. It's ok for Doggy to have a sword help him, but it's not for Fluff ? The sword were made to be used in tandem. They were never ment to be used against each other. Thus the sibs will never be able to kill each other with those swords. That brings it down to pure skill of the characters themselves. Demo.. Toukijin. Fluff has on up on Doggy here. The Toukijin, made by Kaijinbou. Fluff can use this sword on Doggy to kill him. Also Fluff beat Doggy in full (blood)raging youkai mode after the seal of the Tessaiga broke. Doggy, although not in the most intelligent frame of mind, was at his physical peek here.
Like Doggy has Kagome, I have no doubt Fluff will have Rin. If the family tradition holds true, he will only fight harder when he has something to fight for. Going against Fluff is the fact that the Tessaiga has become more powerful after the re-forging with Doggy's tooth and will no longer break against Toukijin. Also Fluff's pride and arrogance (and his false sense of honour. Damn Fluff for not being more underhanded *shakes fist* .. But that's an admirable trait I guess.) has cost him more than his arm in the past, he is learning though.
If anyone dare mention Doggy beat Ryuukossei. Something his father couldn't do, and if Fluff is weaker than his father, Doggy is stronger then Fluff. I will say: Hyounekozoku.
As I see it Fluff has the advantage.

Ok, if his favorite character in a series is the one who's the strongest in a fight, then that's just fine with me...
And do you necessarily know that Inuyasha is not stronger than Sesshoumaru?
Yes, I do. :p

So Inuyasha got a good hit after he (IIRC) suprised Fluff, who was in his huge demon form (that was a lot easier to hit too). This is the way I see it:
Both unarmed:
Battle inside their fathers bones. Fluff was able to zip out and dodge everything and Inuyasha was quite lucky to survive in a few places.
Inuyasha with his sword:
Fluff is cut pretty bad the first time. The second time he manages to get the sword from Inuyasha (quite easily IIRC too), but looses it later and leaves it as a draw. After Inuyasha learns Kaze no Kizu Fluff is suprised (come on, half of the people in the series "should" be able to easily dodge that! ) and hit, but is protected with Tensaiga (if I got the other swords name right). Note that he never looses this protection.
Fluff with his sword:
Inuyasha had gone full-youkai, but couldn't even get close. Err... well he got close in distance, but not close in getting anything done anyway. :) It's possible that Fluff was close to getting his head cut off and only acted cool, but I rather doubt it.
Both with their swords:
So far (ep 85) it's been mostly Fluff saying STFU and "slightly blasting" Inuyasha into the nearest wall (Akane smacking Ranma style  ). It's quite clear that Inuyasha can be hurt by Toukikin, though.

::nod:: good reasoning.
dang, I really need to see more of this series. ::pouts::
who is your favorite Inuyasha character:
...i can never decide on any favourites really.^^ But actually i really like Sango for some reason...and Sesshoumaru is of course also cool.
And i must say i also 'like' Naraku, just because he's such a good villain. ^_^
what is your favorite episode:
Dunno...have to agree with Ah Sayuni about episode 35 though, it's pretty good. And i also like episodes where Kouga and Inuyasha fight and argue, they're always funny ...^^
who is your least favorite Inuyasha character:
That'd be Shippou or Myouga-jiji i believe. Especially Myouga-jiji, he's so annoying at most times.
what is your least favorite episode:
One of the ones that 'only' involves Shippou, like when he's fighting that youngest brother..actually it was a girl, no?...of the lightning brothers...or something like that.^^
of the two, who is better, Inuyasha or Sesshoumaru:
Sesshomaru is the cooler one really, i think...but i still prefer Inuyasha, just a little bit.^^

Manten is the younger of the lightning brothers, so yes, he's a boy. And that was the episode where Shippo is introduced. It was on last Saturday on Adult Swim.
Of course he could have said he's their youngest family member, or maybe the word they used for the Manten "brothers" could also err.. include a sister in Japanese, or something like that.
Is Shippou male of female anyway? I never did figure that out... :p

Male, it had me thrown for a long while too. I always thought it was a girl, and then they said it. It's a male.

...?? 'the episode where Shippou was introduced'..I mean ?. This is ep 68, so you mean to tell me Shippou was not in the series before that..?
I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing here...
I never said anything about Manten...where did you get that from?? I said, the 'Lightning brothers' as a whole, and this is person I'm talking about is supposedly their younger brother/sister...
The episode I mean, is where that kid (Souten) challenged Shippou to a Duel between the two and they actually fight throwing mushrooms and acorns at eachother...>_<
And yes in the end of the ep Souten is explained to be a girl, and she's actually kind of smitten with Shippou and draws a portrait of him all hero-looking.

Here you can see for yourselves....
And I thought you hadn't even seen that far into the series yet, Yasei Chi..? hrmm....
Evidently Alesil didn't know which episode i was talking about either so....
I realised what episode you were talking about, but my memory on the episode was kinda hazy (don't do drugs, kids... :p ) and I believed it when I was told he/she was a boy. Reading everything again it's evident Yasei Chi hasn't seen the episode yet and the zap-kid was a girl.
Anyway, confusion explained, everybody's happy now. :)

::nods:: Didn't realize you meant that episode. ^_^ I have yet to see that one. ::grumbles::
^_^ Well then, I guess it was an easy enough mix-up of episodes, and yeah, no harm done-everybody's happy. ^___^
I actually have another episode to add to my favourite 'collection' now..or rather three i guess^^, eps. 75, 76 and 77 where Inuyasha and co meet those Neko demons...Yeah. ^___^

Favorite Character: Sesshomaru or Rin
Least favorite character: Jaken and at times InuYasha (so damned irritating you know? And doesn't think either)
Favorite episode: Actually, 68 where Shippou fights the Thunder Brother's sister over crayons. I also like the one where Rin names Sesshomaru's 2 headed dragon Uhn :) That's the one where my favorite quote comes in.
Sessh to Rin- Rin stay still
Rin stops moving on one foot, wobbling to maintain balance
After the danger has passed.
Sessh-Rin you may move now.
Rin-'Kay! (She's so kawaii)
Least Favorite episode: Just about all of the ones where all it is is InuYasha fighting, almost dying, swearing he'll protect Kagome and then being cruel to her and getting sat. (Gee, that's a lot...and IY is STILL my favorite anime)
Who's better InuYasha or Sesshomaru?
SESSHOMARU!!! (You'd think that'd be obvious;) )
