I went pretty much "OMG this is great!!!!!" with each of them when I first heard them, but got bored quite quickly. I still consider Every Heart, My Will and Dearest quite good and Fukai Mori to be close to the pinnacle of sound, though. :)

The ending song 'Dearest' wins it for me at the moment. It must be the combination of the peaceful nature of the song and maybe the images accompanying the song (I've heard the full version too), and I like the way it portrays the melancholic aspect of life in a soft way. There's this line in the lyrics:
''It would be nice if we could put away and throw everything out except what really mattered''
which reflects my thinking recently (well, maybe not thinking, but dreaming).

I suppose the lyrics in 'Do As Infinity' are quite sad too.......

My fave opening song would be Owari Nai Yume cuz I'm really into upbeat songs like that and I'm a fan of Aikawa Nanase too.

I pretty much like ALL the opening and ending songs though.

I do believe Do As Infinity is the band that did most of the endings in the series. Their wesite is www.d-a-i.com iirc, or www.do-as-infinity.com or something. :)

You're probably referring to Fukai Mori (the second ending where you have Fluffy walking around), I mistook the name too originally.

Actually, DO as Infinity has only done 2 of the endings. The 2nd, Fukai Mori, and the 5th, Shisitu no Shi.

Favorite opening: I Am
Why? I dunno, I just really like the guitar track and the melody. I like the other openings, too, but I Am just seems generally catchier and less pop-ish than the other ones. Unfortunately I don't know enough musical jargon to accurately describe why I like it... but oh well. :)
Favorite ending: Fukai Mori
Also really like this song's guitar track and melody, vocals are also really nice in my opinion. Really like the flute bits, too, and the wonderfully moodiness of the song in general. Love moody-sounding stuff like this.


Haven't heard the Seiji Kameda one... any idea if the mp3s are floating around on WinMX/KazaaLite/etc.?

The opening songs are alright, but none of them really stick out in my mind as favorites.

The ending songs are awesome, though. My Will and Fukai Mori tie as my favorite. And the only reason I put Dearest at third is that I'm not extremely fond of the voice of the person who sings it. I love the melody of the song, but the singer's voice sometimes grates on my nerves a little.

Anyways, with Inuyasha starting to air again in Japan, I'm not suprised it was given a new OP, since Owarinai Yume has been used for a pretty long time.

I'll say the only Inuyasha song I didn't like was the 2nd Opening, I am by Hitomi. I can honestly say I like, and pretty much love, all the rest of the songs. The 4th OP, Grip! by Every Little Thing sounded ok the first time I heard it, but it's growing on me and I'm liking it more. :) Not to mention the animation in the 4th OP was pretty awesome.
