Hack Sign question

I've been watching Hack Sign recently and the first sentence of the song intriques me.Chikara fansubs translates it as "Hacker's mind was lost" while Elite-fansubs says it's "How come I must know?".The singer sings it in a way it's hard to tell.Anyone can confirm wich is right?

I believe Elite Fansubs has it correct, since the singer is singing in English. While Japanese are famed for their Engrish, I believe that one still works to make a bit more sense in the song, and my friend and I have both listened closly to the words.

I got the complete song (the beginning was so different that at first I thought I had the wrong song), but it's little bit easier to make out the words and it's "How come I must know".
