TEnchi Muyo (not tenchi in love)

I saw briefly this thing about a Tenchi Muyo movie where Tenchi runs away and when Ryouko and Ayeka find him he's been seduced by another woman. Supposedly it's the last Tenchi Muyo ever produced, does anyone know anything about this and can they give me a massive spoiler (an entire run down on what happens) cos it's unlikely I'll ever get to see the movie...

Sounds interesting, although how ANOTHER woman could seduce him is beyond me, anyone who can stand against Ayeka, Ryouko, Tsunami/Sasami, the blonde girl, and Washu, can stand up to ANYTHING!!!

That is Tenchi in Love 2, or Tenchi Forever.

It is a Tree that seduces him, much like the royal trees.

Many disgunteled fans voiced their not so nice comments about this movie.

No, the tree was just inhabited by the spirit of the woman that seduced Tenchi. Since she's a Juraian, she has her own tree.

Yeah, I know a lot of people disliked this movie, but, I loved it! It's very different from the other two movies (Tenchi in Love and Daughter of Darkness), but, that's part of what makes it good. The story had more romantic elements the anything previously seen in the Tenchi series, and I do recommend that you at least give it a try.

Now, KeN, if you really want spoilers on this movie, I'll be glad to tell you the whole story. :B:

i havent seen the tenchi forever movie yet... i should check that one out but most people told me that it isnt as good as the first movie.... ill check that one out anyway. :B:

Not sure, becasue i saw this one in Japanese with no subtitles but I think in that movie the woman who seduced Tenchi did it because Tenchi looked like his grandfather when he was young. And the woman was the lover of Tenchi's grandfather. Apparently Tenchi lost his memories and doesn't recognize both Aeka and Rhoko(sorry about the spellings).

i didn't really like it that much cause it was so much different than the regular series. i mean, it was alright, but i thought it was going to be better.

My movie question was posted before I saw tenchi in tokyo...

Now that I have seen it, I realise there is more than 1 tenchi storyline.. so um, WHICH storyline does it run on? TiT, TM, or TU? or worse yet, an entirely new ones?
are any of the movies TM movies? (/me only likes SAkuya from TiT, the rest of the storyline sucked ass)

Does the writer have an obsession with demon women sleeping for thousands of years, waking up to kick his ass, then liking him?

Well, since it's a direct sequel to the first movie (Tenchi Muyo in Love), I'd have to say it goes with the Tenchi Universe story. I also say this because it explains how Yosho arrived on Earth, which was never really explained in the Tenchi Universe series.
