Xenogears question

Okay, so now i know Fei and Id were the same, but it rings a couple of questions in my head. First, when in you escape the underground facility were Emeralda was created, you run into Id, you fight him and Wiseman finaly come to hold Id. But if Wiseman is holding Fei -Id-, how could Fei -Fei- get run away with the others? And how could they fight him without noticing they were fighting Fei and that Fei was fighting himself? And how could Fei -Fei- be fighting Vanderkaum(spelling?) at the same time Fei -Id- was fighting Bart, Ramsus and the Yggdrasil?

Well if one thinks about it Id is Lacan and Fei is one of his many reincarnations these include Citan and after undergoing the treatment to be eternaly young,(hes been alive for 500 years!) his apearance probably changed some.

In answer to the question Grahf is Lacan not Fei. Fei is Id. What you are talking about fei been in 2 places at once. I am not sure, I have played through the game 2 time and I still don't 100% understand. Maybe id seperated from fei at times and went out on his own.

Yes i know Grahf is Lacan and also possess Wiseman -Kahn- body to a certain extent. And also that Fei got a bit of Lacan in him as -Lacan- reincarnate every generation and also seem to be with Elly's reincarnation every time. So if i'm not wrong the different incarnations of -Lacan- that were shown to us in the game are Lacan, Kim, Fei and Abel. I'm now right before going to the last dungeon.

That last boss is a pain in the ass! And the maze to get there is confusing!

From what I know your theory is right with fei and his decendents. Now you have got me wondering about the game again! I am going to have to play it again!

From what i remember, Miang is part of all women, and -Fei- and -Elly- where the survivors of the crash of the Eldridge and that they are the only ones with the ability to transfer their memories from generation to genaration.

Now i went to the lighthouse, and Emeralda turned adult (YAY! :B: ) and now i'm searching for the place the captain of the Thames talked about where there is supposed to be a legendary sword or something like that, but i can't find it! Where the heck is it supposed to be?

Yeah, that is true but Elly became Miang when the last generatiom Maing died. Elly and Fei do have all there memories of there past lives.

Ok, now i'm having a bit of fun at the battle arena. My question is, can i use someone other than Fei to fight? Cause i'm really good with Emeralda, but i'm stuck with Fei in the mode where you get points :(

I don't think that there is any way that you can play another character.

What is the party of that you usually use in Xenogears?
I use Fei(of course), Citan and Billy or Maria.

I use Fei(duh), Citan and Emeralda. Does Emeralda's gear also change like the others or does it stay the same?

I am not sure, maybe it is already changed. Have you been to the underground city? That is an interesting place and a part of it involves Emeralda.

But i still have the same "Crescens" maybe the change was not as apparent as the others... :(

It's been a while sense I played but I don't think her gear changes in anyway.

No, I don't think that the gear changes. I havent found all the secrets in Xenogears. They are hard to find.

I think the only way to find all the secrets in Xenogears is to own the strategy guide. There are just way to many secrets hidden in the game.
