Initial D 4th stage

I was bored and was checking the message boards one of the initial d sites and found something promising. There were posts about the 4th stage was going to start being released in the spring/April. something to do with the 4th stage starts in the spring and so they were going to release it then. Dont know if its true or not but I hope so.

Well all I can say is please let this be true.

In the Making of Third Stage DVD I have they said they would like to continue Initial D.

I hope in Fourth Stage if there is one they have the Kengai racing team :)

actually i heard that 4th stage was just a rumor but then again i could be wrong...its such a great series i wish i would continue for a long time but there's only so much you can do with a drift genius..

Well there youve got the Kengai racing team and there are two more teams in the manga the SSR and the Toudou-Juku

it'd be interesting to see modern cars in initial D, i mean past the early 90's.

i haven't read initial d in manga form but i don't know how much i'd like it because imo, the car animation and music are two key points to the series.

Yeah really the only good thing about Initial D in anime form is the GC and the music. If you really think about it the plot sucks. Boy comes out of no where. wins matches. blows up engine. gets new engine. wins more matches. not going to say what happens next. blows up engine. cant say what happens next. wins more matches. Its the dbz of drifting:D

PE If they ever put in anything newer than 95 then the Ideal about Initial D is gone. Old car with skill beats newer(not brand new) car with no skill. besides new cars suck. besides every car IMO made after 98 besides the evo6.5 totally bites. even the new evos cant perform like their predecessors. Not to mention the demise of the of the silvia and skyline platforms(the skyline died with the end of the gtr 34. the :vomit: 35 is not a skyline I dont care what anyone says) How many new cars are even rwd? rwd is the only real drivetrain to drift. yes you can drift or slide the others but who cares? New cars should stay away from Initial d

edit: finally hit 100 posts. Maybe by the end of next year Ill hit 200.

well, the wrx isn't too bad, and it'd be nice to see some s14 silvias. id probably watch any new initial d and still love it, im not picky.

I couldnt aree with you more, the plot sucks but its wrapped up in great music and great CG. But I just try not to think about how crappy the plot maybe

Kenta is from the Redsuns, Keisuke trains him and I swear he has something for him . . anyway he battle Takumi in a rain baytle on Myougi (Night Kids home course)

guess ill need to watch the series for a 3rd time. but now that im considering it.. the series really does end with a nice setup for more, and it'd be nice to see a relationship or two actually work out.

do you mean that Keisuke has something for Kenta or the other way around. Cause we all know that that Keisuke has something for Takumi, his brother, and the leader of the night kids.:rolleyes:
Who comes up with this stuff anyway. All you fan girls should be shot for making up those stories and I should be shot for reading them.

It would be nice to see a couple of the relationships work out. This is how it could go. Takumi now has a real job. Since he has money he can now pay Mogi to do all those dirty little things that she does:D And Iketani and Mako finally realize they are both idiots and get back together.

Anyway I reawtched Third Stage again, and there is a part where Keisuke says he wants to go into the pros next year and wants Takumi aswell to go for pros, so maybe will the other stages be about them racing on circuits?
