Yugi grows into, the Sakuya Tenchi knew will be dead, the only thing that will exist is her body, which well, if I wanted body i'd like Ryoko or Ayeka (at least they're fully grown)

She's not a bitch. She's very nice. She doesn't fight over tenchi, in fact she's very kind to all his friends and his dad. She goes out of her way to help him too (yes, I know why but still...)

She had no intention of hurting him, betraying him, fighting over him etc, she just loved her guy and wanted him. What's wrong with that? I also liked Asuka, and anyone who knows who's on my IM and ICQ lists will also see a pattern.. I dig girls crying, who are majorly tormented by inner demons. (sadistic?)

While I wish Sakuya had more of a personality, she was about the most sane in the entire Series. Ryoko, Ayeka and the others just kept buggin Tenchi and being very very annoying.

I am surprised that Rei_Ayanami_the_cabbit don't like her, she really never did hurt anyone! Even Rei Ayanami (in NGE.. not the member) slapped shinji, sakuya NEVER slapped anyone or punched them or sent blasts of fire from her hands at them.

Maybe ya's just don't like her cos she's not funny.

Geez, I've only seen 4 eps, (and of TiT, at that) andI already dislike Ayeka! She's evil. She just... is. The only thing she has going for her is that she's affiliated with Azaka and Kamidake! (Konichi Ogata rocks!)

That said, Ayeka isn't as bad as she first seemed to me. The only character I really don't like much is Tenchi, actually... well, he might develop into a corageous boy later on, but based on what I've seen, he seems somewhat cowardly.

I'm just saying that people should watch the real Tenchi. Compared to the original, TiT has the depth of a pothole. You kind of have to pay attention, but the OVA has all kinds of really interesting background stuff that, if it were real, would have serious ramifications for life on earth. For instance, isn't it funny how the aliens have practically the same culture as traditional Japan? Really makes you wonder dunnit? And what's Tsunami and Tokimi's deal, anyway? In Shin Tenchi, when you look really deep down into the core of the story, what do you see? That they weren't trying. We all have to start someplace, but you should try to see at least some of the bad boy who started it all. It's like art. The best way to appreciate art is to study some of the real early stuff, like the Renaissance. You could understand the newer stuff better. Also, I tend to use a lot of sarcasm in my posts. Like saying 'these damn kids'.

Yes, from watching the first four eps of TiT, it appears that it IS much shallower and less funny that original Tenchi... Pioneer must have been dragging their ass, 'cause they're usually BRILLIANT. Maybe it's the same ass they were dragging when they recruited Tenchi's dub voice actor? :p
