Look, I can't help myself! I got the Viz DVD's and watched them 2 times over in 1 day. I downloaded most episodes (only actually got 7-15).....To sum it up, I NEED HELP! I need to stop this nonsense and not be addicted. Any help?:(

Try looking for something else to get hooked on.

I've tried that. There isn't much to get hooked on:D

Then just try to wait for this whole addiction to subside.

The question you've got to ask yourself is....

What's wrong with being addicted? :D Why do you need to "stop this nonsense"? Of course, it's probably not too good to be too obsessed about any one thing, but addictions can be fun, especially when there aren't any bad consequences to your health.

Well, I wasn't too helpful there. But I guess you need to ask yourself why you're addicted. If it's because of those cute fuzzy dog ears, then I can't help you. But if you're just bored, and that's why you're obsessing over Inu-Yasha, then like Destructa said, find something else. Start working out or something. Join some kind of community group. Pick up a new anime to watch. Fight crime. Try to find other interests, or something, to dilute your Inu-Yasha madness.

If it's true that there's nothing else to do, then (like Destructa said) wait for your addiction to pass. It will eventually, especially if you're as obsessed about it as you claim you are. Obsessions never last long, unless you're a psychopath. :D

The show is awesome so you don't have to go all crazy for being "addicted" to this show. Nothing wrong with that..as long as you can tell reality from fiction then you're ok

Well, it's OK if it isn't causing problems with other parts of your life. For example:

(1) School/work. Your grades/work performance suffers because you spend too much time watching anime

(2) Relationships. If your SO likes to watch with you, no problem.. But, if it gets in the way, then it's not good.

(3) Money. You can't pay bills because of your anime habit.

As long as you don't see 1-3 above don't worry too much.

I got addicted riiiiight around the time when CN decided to pull the show off the air for a while. >< I'm used to this though... I never get into anything until it's too late. *pout*

Dude, Fukai Mori REFUSES to abandon its grip on my brain... that doesn't help much :tongue3:

I've been addicted to Inuyasha since episodes 14 and 15 when I watched them fan-subbed over a year ago. I wanted more and more and I eventually became an Inuyasha nut. ;)

Oh yeah, I like all the intro's and outro's except for the 2nd OP, I Am by Hitomi. At one point or another, I had every song stuck in my head. ;)

It's hard not to get addicted to great songs like those. ;)

Especially from great J-Pop artsist such as BoA, Do As Infinity, and Ayumi Hamasaki. :D
