Hey All,

New Box set just came out for this series. I also noticed there are 2 OVA titles. I believe the OVA titles were released first. Would appreciate any comments on this series, especially whether the OVA titles should be viewed before the series or not. No spoilers please. Thanks!

I have seen the entire TV series and i was very dissapointed with it. Almost every episode was a filler...which could have worked except that the same thing happened in each one to quote someone else who reviewed this a long time ago "this anime suffers from monster of the week syndrome". As for the OVA I have seen 2 eps out of 4 total I believe and I was more impressed with it, seemed to have a darker tone.

The order in which you watch them does not matter, they carry themselves seperately.

If you want good vampire anime get hellsing...of course these are all my opinions so if oyu view it i hope you enjoy it more then me.

the OAV (4 eps) is exellent. the tv series is as posted above... not very good.

Will track down the OAVs though.

I agree with ATh, & BakaMaster..., watch the OAV's if you can..., avoid the TV series...,
The OAV series is a succinct supernatural tale..., not visually gory.., but dark, & chilling all the same..., the TV series just meandered all over the place with no clear indication of the direction it was heading in..., I gave up after 8 episodes..., you can only watch so many 'monster of the week' episodes...,
