Different versions of Vol. 2?

I just got my vol. 2 of Kare Kano today, but noticed the casing was the usual black while the first volume had a clear case to it. Did they just decide not to go with the clear anymore? Was the first volume done clear just to be special? Or are there various versions of volume 2 with some being clear cased and others the usual black?

I'm just curious since I got the first volume with the artbox and now the difference in the spines will make it look kind of ackward. :lol:

No, the clear casing came for volume 2 as well. I actually have clear casings for both volumes thus far, but I heard some people on gamefaqs complaining about the same problem you are having. Seems people want to have the same coloration of casings since they are collecting the whole series.

Did you get volume 2 right around release? Because I bought both volumes the day or week of the release and found clear casings without any problem.

No, I ordered mine about a week ago, and just got it yesterday.

Damn...now I must try and obtain one of these clear cases now that I know they exist.

Thank you for your help though Midvalley. I was looking forward to watching the second volume this week. Now it looks like I'll have to be returning it. :lol:

It's kinda funny. The only reason I know the black cases exist is because two people have told me about them over the internet. I have never seen one with Kare Kano. Good luck.

I had the M-Lock clear case on volume 2 but i received the Yin-Yang lock back case on volume 3.
