ok, this question has probably been asked and answered a million times already...

Why in Episode 1 of Tenchi Muyo, did Ryoko attack Tenchi? was she just playing around or what? if she loves him why do all of that? Is it because she is sadist?

If Ryoko's 3 jewels were in the sword, how come she had jewels on her wrists and power?

If she had jewels anyway..why bother getting the other three back? can she regenerate them jewels on her wrists? if this is so, then why did she give up once one hand was cut off?

And why didn't tenchi ever give her back all 3 jewels even when he knew she wasn't gonna hurt anyone (except Ayeka but who cares about her)

And finally, why does everyone here debate who tenchi liked most? it's obvious that Sakuya was the one and only, boy I envy him :inlove: :inlove:
he wanted to spend eternity with her, he admitted his love for her and everything! It's such a damned shame that he admitted it, and it was too late for her.. :bawling:

I would go on to say more about how I intend to visit my darling sakuya, but that would be a spoiler for anyone who doesn't know about her yet.

Ryoko could have blown Tenchi away at any time when they first met. She was just playing with him, showing off her powers, being dominant like always.

Ryoko can't regenerate the jewels herself. She just regenerated her hand that time. Tenchi has to be willing to give Ryoko the jewels.

that's not my point.. the point is that her 3 jewels were removed, yet somehow she had at least 2 when tenchi first fought her... that's why I suggested the possibility that she may be able to regenerate them..

i think ryoko doesnt really need the jewels.... i heard from somewhere that those jewels that she's wearing arent the real ones coz the real ones are on tenchi's sword. anyway, i guess she was just playing with tenchi the whole time. :B:

here's the story...

washu is one of the three goddess but she was stripped of her power (dont know why). so, she made ryoko and also made the 3 jewels. in those three jewels are all of washu's powers, the 10 lighthawk wings. if ryoko gets all of the three jewels she will be able to generate the 10 lighthawk wings.

yup, tenchi can generate up to three lighthawk wings.

house jurai's source of power as well as tenchi is tsunami, i think she is the third most powerful of the three goddesses

ryoko's powers however are from washu, the most powerful, so that's probably why she can generate 10 light hawk wings

yup, tsunami can generate up to 10 lighthawk wings too... i think all the 3 goddessess can generate up to 10 lighthawk wings but anyway, i think washu's the most powerful of the 3.

In episode 13 it is mentioned that Ryoko can POSSIBLY generate lighthawk wings, where did the number 10 come from?
I was actually gonna post a thread requesting if anyone knew if that thought had been carried over in a movie or something... they cut it off without answering enough..

I don't know enough about Tsunami, I figured she was just some tree who gives her owner immortality... as well as being a ship. Bit like Ryo-Ohki, just a thing of power that is a ship. After all, Ryoko mentions that she didn't know the jurai trees could take human form. If the trees were goddesses, Ryoko would know that surely, and a goddess must surely be able to take human form.

the number 10, i've heard about it somewhere but i forgot. :B: about tsunami, i dont know much about her too but i think that she's the source of life in the planet jurai and the only jurai tree that could take on human form is tsunami. :B:

the goddesses are in human form.... washu and tokimi and tsunami takes on human form. well, they may look kinda different though but i guess they look more human than anything else... hehe... :lol:

Well, acording to my "Tenchi Muyo! RPG and Ressource book", Ryoko already had one jewel on her left wrist and there were two in the Master Key. She can generate fake gems, but she don't have access to her full power with it. The gem on her left wrist enable her to control Ryo-Ohki as a spaceship and to summon demons. A jewel on her right wrist would enable her to control the demons she summoned, but unfortunately for the old woman at the Hot Springs Inn, Ryoko momentarily forgot this^^. The exact powers of the third gem are unknown, but when Ryoko possessed it in conjunction with the other two original gems, she and Ryo-Ohki were able to penetrate the defenses of planet Jurai. Even so, Yosho was able to defeat her. Funaho believes that if Ryoko had all three original gems she could create Lighthawk Wings.

nah Tsunami is one of the 3 sisters. She looks like Sasami grown up. :eek: Also she is the second most powerful characters in the series(Washu being #1) She is the one that helps Tenchi defeat Kagato.

I may be mistaken about the power tho :heh:
