We meet Sango last eps if you are following the Adult Swim line-up and quite frankly, with how it ended. If I could bring myself to cry, I would have.

To see your younger brother be possesed by a demon and then slay (By assumtion and guessing) your two mentors and father... But then to see him struck down by their emploiers, and the last words you hear are... "Sango, I'm scared..." As he is crying with arrows impaling his torso, while the blood seeps through his mouth...

It really got to me that he didn't want to be there, he was not a coward, but he should have been given more time to face the dangers in a less comprable situation... Any eleven year old would have faced the same delmia, but it was this that caused their end... It was a targic tale indeed. But salt was poured on the wound when Naraku sent his horads after the villiage itself and burnt it to the ground...

It fills me with a sadness...

Trust me, if you haven't heard what goes on in that plotline later on in the series, it only gets worse. :/

Yeah, I think that was probably the saddest plotline in the whole series so far- the way that Sango and her brother used to train together and how her brother was scared......... then Naraku comes along and rips his soul out by getting a demon to possess him.
Agh, the humanity! Sango must have felt terrible..........

Possible spoilers.

Oh, he's not possessed. He's just controlled by one of Naraku's tainted Shikon shards. He is dead, though, so far as I can tell.

well, that stinks. So many people have grudges against Naraku that by the time it's over, Inuyasha will have an army against Naraku...

AARRGGHH!!! That makes me so mad!! Did anyone see yesterday's episode? Or the day before? I can't believe Naraku did that!!!
He tried to make her fight against her younger brother and erased all his memories. Grrr... I hope Inuyasha eventually kills him!

That's what makes Naraku, IMO, one of the best villans in all of anime. He's a 100% evil bastard who is a master manipulator who will use anyone and anything to gain the advantage without a care in the world if he hurts them.

I was shocked when I saw this episode! What a sad turn of events. The scene where the demon exterminators die is gutwrenching! It is possibly the saddest scene I have ever watched in anime. I was like, "No! Not her brother to!" As of the last two episodes it's looks like he's alive.. maybe? Will he become normal in future episodes? Or will taking out the jewel shard kill him? Darn it!! I can't wait to find out.

Meh, this is all way old for me. Don't worry, there's still hope.

Well Naraku made Kagome go gungho on him in that episode LOL.

In response to "will taking out the shard kill him?"....

I think that by now, he's just an animated corpse. The shard is keeping him moving, the shard is keeping him from decomposing, the shard is allowing Naraku to control him and do what he wants with the boy. I don't know how much hope there is, from how I see things. There's probably hope that Kohaku will regain his memories and all that, but will that really be a good thing? He'll remember that he killed his own clan, his father and his friends. He'll remember that he attacked his own sister. And yes, I think removing the shard will kill him, but I also think that's what needs to happen, to put him at peace. Just like I think Kikyou needs to die and retern her soul(s) to Kagome, not because I hate Kikyou but because I think that's the best way for Kikyou to be with Inuyasha.

i think so too, as soon as it comes out, he's dead, unless they find a way to not kill him.

Um, I'm not 100% sure, but I am pretty sure the last episode to air was episode 29, which was the episode when Kagome nearly destroyed Naraku, I think.

Not neccesarily. If it was human, the attack would've done no damage because it only hurts demons. ;) Maybe those with fevil hearts and souls as well, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

.....any other demon ...COME ONE! HALF OF HIS BODY WAS BLOWN AYAW!:D

Oh, Kagome's attack would've done damage to a human. She was firing an arrow for pete's sake. It just does more damage to youkai because of the miko's power she puts into it. A human would take ordinary arrow damage.

Well, I was talking more in the lines of the power of her arrow, and not the arrow itself. ;)

Yea, but in episode 62 or 63, you'll see that Kagome has poor aim for someone who is supposed to be the recarnation of an excellent archer. ;poke:

But you did say that a human would take no damage, akwan. ^_^

And yes, Kagome was a poor aim. But also I believe it mentions somewhere that she's practicing, and that episode is probably about the turning point where she starts to hit the target more often. And the arrow that blew away most of Naraku's body hit him in the chest, so if he'd been a human, he would've taken the damage from the arrow, if not from the power in it.

I suppose so. I guess I just need to be more specific next time. :goof:

Speaking of Kagome, what do you expect from her, Fire Seer? She may be a reincarnation and have special powers, but that doesn't neccesarily mean she is going to automatically be good with a bow. I'm positive Kikyo wasn't exactly a terrific shot when she first started. If Kagome were to get proper training and have more experience in dealing with demons, I know for sure she's be as good as Kikyo.

Its a generally accepted theory that if you were to make a perfect clone of someone, they would turn out to be a very different person because they would have a different upbringing, different experiences, different friends, different influences, different hobbies, and may end up learning new things that totally change the way that person thinks.

Just because Kagome is Kikyo's reincarnation doesn't mean Kagome IS Kikyo. She was brought up in a different time, with different societal values and expectations, etc. She is a very different person from Kikyo, so by no means should she be a good archer just because Kikyo was. She has no experience in the matter, and would have to train just like Kikyo probably did before she became skilled.

Exactly. Basically, the only things about Kagome that you can point at and say, "That's from Kikyo" are her looks and her soul (and her miko powers).

Naraku
28-01-03, 07:55 AM
heh, twitchy face......yeah, all of these posts in like 1/2 a day? Anyway, kind of like in "The Mummy" the whole reincarnation thing...but this isn't that is it? When Kagome masters the bow, and her "powers" (which at this rate will take a while) she will be almost exactlly as powerfull as kikyo, but she still won't be kikyo, because she..isn't...As for Yasei Chi, and Robotech Master, thereARE only so many things that are the same in the both of them.

Actually, I dont really think that, I just thought it was stupid how you guys were fighting over if a arrow hit someone would they get hurt, so I tried to change the topic a little....

Naraku
28-01-03, 08:15 AM
 well, nice job...to sum it up, either way, somone woulda gotten hurt human, or not. So aren't ther other exterminator "tribes or clans"?

Yasei Chi
28-01-03, 08:58 PM
^_^ I would actually call it friendly banter over an arrow.

I dunno if there are other exterminator clans. Probably not, but you knever know.
