I watched Inuyasha for the first time on CN and ws wondering if anyone can tell me a little background info on it. Like what is the plot? Also what is Inuyasha? And why is it when he is told to sit he falls into the ground? Is he half dog?

F.Y.I. its on cartoon network, adult swim. its about this girl named kagome and she travels to feudal japan through a well with the help of a centipede demon whose trying to rip the shikon jewel out of her body:D . she doesnt know that she has the jewel inside her. the shikon jewel (shikon means 4 souls) is somthing that can make demons stronger so on, so on, so on (its a long story. just PM me and ill give u the 411). inuyasha is a half dog-demon. he is told to be sit by kagome higurashi and only her because the necklace that inuyasha wears that is permanently stuck on him ( i forgot what its called, and it was put on by kaede) was assigned for kagome that when inuyasha does somthing that kagome doesnt want hm to do, she yells 'sit' or 'sit, boy!' the earths core pulls him to the earths center. the rest is a legend, especially the plot. like i said, PM me then ill give u the 411

well i have a question. I'v missed 2 episodes. When I was downloading them, I hadnt noticed that I missed one and I didnt watch them until the end of that week and by then I didnt feel like waiting a while just for 1 previous episode. (My kazaa sucks, it takes 3-4 hours for 1 damn Inuyasha episode)

That's actually average for high-speed connections, Fire Seer. It's the same way for me, and I have a nice speedy cable connection.

I have Dsl, and I just checked and it, and it said that one of the episodes I was downloading needed 227 hours....canceled that one right away, hopfully trying agian will be better :sleep2:

mine takes about that long (3-5 hours), but it always manages to stop right at the end...

It's also not always your computer. Sometimes you're connecting to someone on a dial-up, and if a 5-minute song takes 2-4 hours on a dial-up, I can only imagine what a half-hour episode takes (I was too scared to try it on my parents' computer).

Thanks everyone for answering my question it really stinks missing an episode i probably didn't see the one before that otherwise i would have killed myself if i missed it. Oh well it will show again at least one more time through here this I am sure...at least I hope:confused: :eek:
